FOCUS & POSITIVITY AFTER 2072 DAYS ON HIVE
Just a little personal news first, I am going to be lonely for the next week. I will survive. lol
You see @cathyarrow has gone on vacation. A well deserved one. She is gone to Cuba. I wish here the best time in the world and I hope she gets well relaxed and refreshed.
One of the easiest things in life is to be negative. If anyone knows this it is me, I spent most of my life being negative till a few years ago. Now I see the positive in everything. If I don't then I stop myself and analysis the situation and find the positive.
I know there always has been negativity on Hive, like any community people are not going to see eye to eye on how things work. Shit man, that is human nature, that is wy there are over 200 countries on this planet and not just one. That is why this is war. People believe they are right and want to opress others with their beliefs. And that being said I have my beliefs.
There are things going on, on Hive that I don't like, I am doing things, building my way, that people don't like. Cannot we all just learn to get along, accept what each other is doing and leave things be rather than trying to shut down (no one is trying to shut me down by the way) and silence people.
Just like and relegion, people can read the books, take out of it what serves their purpose and get people to believe and follow thier ways. People can extract data from the Hive database, look at it, spin it and make good people look bad.
This week I seen another long time Hiver that was a daily poster stop posting. Then I seen them powering down. Gone silent. We see this far to often on Hive. Why is this? I am sure there are many reasons. But I believe, and I could be wrong, that a few handfuls of people are trying to impose their beliefs on the whole blockchain.
This is what I believe(d) Hive was and maybe it still is: DECENTRALIZED.
I don't just mean that there are nodes and witnesses all around the world sharing the work of the chain. I thought it had self governance. I thought you got to vote for who you wanted, be it blog posts or witnesses. I thought you got to downvote or remove votes as you saw fit. For example of good downvoting, if someone starts hate speach or builling in long form posts, this kinda of stuff can be governed by people downvoting.
I guess what I am trying to get out of me this morning, a few bad things going on on Hive is being spread out in to big of a blanket. People are starting to feel like they being accussed of doing stuff wrong when they are not. And the politics of the situation got people, good people, long time people, leaving the best blockchain there is.
Is there any fixing this? I have no idea. But the start is for people to have disscussions. If you don't like what someone is doing or building call them out on it and then, most importantly, talk to them. Get their side of the story. Tell them what you think is wrong, then listen to the answer. Don't have your mind already made up. Good discussion, good debate. Worse case agree to disagree.
We need to be more positive, have an outlook of cooperation, learning, respect. Or Hive is never going to grow, never going to be mainstream.
Is it possible that some don't want Hive to grow and become mainstream? I don't know. I hope not but I hear others think that.
I am sure I have only scratched the surface here. But in my believe HIve has a retention issue, be it new people or people that have been around for a long time.
I joined 2072 days ago, this is my 2072 strait day long form posting. And anyone that knows me, knows how hard I am trying to building something great here on the blockchain. Do I have a breaking point that would cause me to leave? I sure hope not. I hope I am still blogging from my death bed.

WITNESS UPDATE
196 fracking sauce days as a witness we managed to get into 67th place. What a battle this is. Up to 393 supporters. 393 supporters, did you read that. That is Awesome Fracking Sauce. Nothing wrong with that. But I want more, I want to keep growing fast, moving up the charts fast. Business mindset people.. Now the hard part begins. Getting the word out to more people.
I know we will keep moving up the charts. The higher we are, the more Hive income there is, and the higher Drip Day payouts will get. Remember that. That is what is important.
This morning we are in 67th at 6,974,316 in support. Yesterday we where at 6,965,551 HP in support. To get into 66th place we need another 174,467 in support. Yesterday we needed 39,844 in support. We need alot of little or some big support to come in. Tell the world.
As you can see I lost a nice supporter yesterday. Oh well, time will take of it all. I have only been a Witness for a little over 6 months. I am sure this will cycle up and down.
DEDICATION
Let me start with the fact that I have been on this blockchain now for 2072 days. And I am extreamly proud to say my posting streak continues. I have now done at last one post a day for 2072 strait days. Yes, from the 1st day I joined. I have not missed a day.

CURATION TRAIL
No new members to the Curation Trailover in the last 24 hours. We are now 332 strong. The new goal of 500 members by the end of 2025.
What is the point of a curation trail and why should I join?
Any post that I up vote, everyone that is upto 332 possible upvotes.
When you join the trail you can set your trail vote to what ever you want. Even if you set the up vote to 0.01. Imagine if we had 1,000 people in the trail that would be 10.00 to the post. Fantastic stuff. A little difference can end up making a giant difference to a Hiver.
That being said, we do have 332 members, I know not all are active, some have passed, but the majority of use are still here.
Imagine if we could get 100 people doing just 1 blog post about the curation trail. Do you think the membership would go up quickly?

BBH RELEASE PRICE
I now set the release price of BBH to the markets daily. It is an open market so sometimes you can pick up deals when others are selling cheaper than my set price. The goal is to have 1 BBH = 1 Satoshi. I do a bit of math and get the price. If Bitcoin is stronger than Hive then the price of one BBH goes up and if Hive is strong than Bitcoin then the price goes down.
