So you want to get involved with liquidity pools here on Hive /hive-engine. Excellent let me show you how you can get started for free. that's right zero out of pocket required.
In this example I will be using the CENT token @centtoken @anadolu but any token that has a liquidity pool that you can earn from using the tag on your posts could apply. I chose CENT because it is a general use tag, meaning the post does not have to be about a specific topic , and there are plenty of interesting high paying liquidity pools for CENT.
Step 1. Make a quality post and use the CENT tag. After post payout you will have some CENT in your wallet. Now pick a liquidity pool you want to join. Any pool that is paired with CENT is fine.
Step 2. Now what you do is you swap about half of your cent for the other token . For example if I want to join the CENT/BEE pool I would swap about half my cent for bee then join the pool.
Step 3: Continue doing step 1 and 2 to increase your balance. You can also use token earnings from the pools to leverage even more.
There you go you are now participating in the liquidity pools at no cost to you. Yes the amount is small but think of it as a placeholder/motivation. You can continue to create content use the CENT tag and repeat this process.
The rewards for the liquidity pools change over time. don't forget you also earn a tiny amount from each swap as long as you are active in the liquidity pool (tribaldex link here)
You may also find you have other tokens sitting in your hive-engine wallets that have liquidity pools. You can use the same technique for these tokens if you choose to. Simply swap about half of the main token for the pair you want to join the pool with and there you go.
You can exit liquidity pools at any time. I think there may be a 24 -ish hour delay when you first join the pool and when you get rewards. you may need to wait until the next day to get your first rewards.
This strategy is the least risky since you are only using tokens you earn not tokens you buy. There is still a risk of loss but it's minimal in my opinion because it's all free money anyway. i enjoy the game of it.,seeing how I can build up the pools and leverage with earnings.
