In my post yesterday about crashing my scooter, I forgot to mention that I also broke my cellphone and my glasses (the ones that transition in the sun).
The funny thing about my cellphone breaking is that I had replaced it LAST MONTH because my previous phone was broken. When I fell, my phone flew out of my pocket, and I was surprised to find it lying on the street. When I picked it up, the screen was completely cracked. It 'worked' in the sense that I could still receive calls and get notifications, but the screen was completely destroyed. What a morning that was.
Now, when I went to look for my glasses, all I saw was a broken lens on the ground. I didn't even bother looking for the rest of my glasses. It was a lost cause at that point, so I grabbed my scooter and zoomed off to work. LOL
Either way, today I went to go replace my cellphone. Everything went well. I have spare glasses that don't transition, but I will be replacing my transitioning glasses probably later in the year. I'll definitely be more careful riding from here on out.
