It's always a joy for my children to play with their legos, but it's even more fun when legos are brought to the kitchen counter, building and playing right in the middle of things!
Clean up the Room
We clean up the house after breakfast every morning, what we call "15 minutes cleanup" where we put some music on our speaker and everyone mobilizes on one task for 5 - 10 minutes, then on to another task. With five (capable) children and two adults all cleaning at the same time, a lot gets done in a little time.
"Clean up the room, c'mon clean up the room. Everybody's helping now, so clean up the room. Pick up the toys, c'mon pick up the toys. Everybody's helping out, oh what a joy. Clean up some more, just clean up some more. Pick up everything you see, so we can see the floor."
Enjoying Clean Spaces
The children are quickly beginning to understand how nice a clean and tidy environment is. The kitchen counters gather a lot of items. It's easy to deposit things there, especially when there's a bunch of space. Once the counter is tidy and clean, there is this wide open space to use for fun.... LEGOS!
Now that we have a clean space in the middle of all the activity in our home, it's the perfect place to build with legos. Just remember to "Clean up the toys" when you're done.

Bless the Most High!
Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.
