The ALIVE Tribe is ALIVE!!!
It's hard to believe it's been 4 years already. It started even earlier April 3, 2020, with the #iamalive challenge.
It was :
a new challenge to cheer up the mood both on the Hive blockchain, the CTPtalk tribe and the world in general.
The POWER of cheerfulness! The #iamalive challenge is still going 5 years later!
Alive Tribe
The ALIVE TRIBE was started April 16, 2021 (Exactly 4 years ago today), formed by @flaxz as a way to celebrate LIVING and THRIVING in our daily lives.
He would encourage daily posts "I Am Alive" and "Alive and Thriving". When I heard about this, I began posting daily "WE ARE ALIVE" posts everyday. It was a great way for me to continue daily blogging.
Later, I was recruited for curating the @alive.chat account, which rewarded ALIVE tokens for conversations and engagement. This account is still active today and I would encourage EVERYONE to participate. There are some really amazing people active in the ALIVE community.
What Attracted me to ALIVE TRIBE
What attracted me to the ALIVE TRIBE, besides a motivation for daily posting, was the amazing token-nomics of the ALIVE token and ALIVEM mining token. Plus a fantastic ALIVE:ALIVEM liquidity pool.
@flaxz would do weekly ALIVE staking contest rewarding ALIVEM tokens equal to ALIVE staked that week. This was a win-win, since ALIVE tokens rewarded daily dividends (would call them "drips" today) and ALIVEM tokens would reward ALIVE tokens randomly throughout the day, plus also rewarded daily tokens based on stake.
The other attraction was @alive.chat.
Every day there was a promotion to "create good habits". Every participation was another opportunity for prizes and rewards, really keeping the tribe active and participating.
Is Alive Tribe Living?
January of 2024, @alive.chat went dark and no longer continued daily posting. I thought the tribe was "dying", but I maintained my ALIVE stake and my ALIVE pool and daily ALIVE posting.
Then @flaxz made his last personal post on January 28th, 2024 (happened to be my birthday). He rewarded everyone who staked ALIVE token that week. Then vanished from the chain.
Even with the creator/founder gone, the token continued on.
ALIVE tribe was FAR from dead or dying - in fact it was still THRIVING! Even without the daily promos, the token maintained it's value.
ALIVE is ALIVE!
Then about year later, about 3 months ago, February of 2025, we saw @alive.chat revived! And promotions were starting up yet again! ALIVEM is still rewarding ALIVE tokens, the liquidity pool is still active, and just recently, ALIVE stake began "dripping" again!
ALIVE is ALIVE!!!
Further evidence that ALIVE tribe was indeed THRIVING and we've been watching the value of ALIVE token grow consistantly since March of this year.
One of the Most Impressive Tribes
This tribe is the only community (that I know of) that the founder/creator is no longer active, yet what he created is still valuable with engagement and activity.
No rug pull here! This is how we know that the people active in the community are sincere, and not motivated exclusively for profit. If it were only for profit, this tribe would indeed be a goner.
Instead, here we are FOUR YEARS LATER still posting, still ALIVE and still THRIVING!

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
