Sadly I missed my midweek post and I'll attribute that to my fuzzy brain last night.π I just got a little too tired that I decided to give myself a break. Thankfully, I was able to post the 4th Anniversary contest of the We Are Alive Tribe. My own anniversary of joining the #iamalivechallenge is a week from the tribe anniversary. I will then have completed five years of celebrating being #alive and sharing #aliveandthriving triumphs. I say five years because the tribe was launched a year after the start of the #iamalivechallenge. π€
Sharing my steps from my run to the grocery store yesterday. It's not a lot but at least I managed to go out for a little exercise. π I was able to drop by the pet supplies store where I order from weekly. It's always good to see Ms. Connie, the owner. It's been a while since I've been to this part of the area. I was a little emotional while doing the groceries as it reminds me so much of mom. That's where we used to shop a lot. It just brought back a lot of memories of the good ole days.
My timing was pretty perfect as I finished my run in two hours. I was back at home by lunch time to feed the kitties. π Initially I wanted to treat myself to a really good pasta dish. Unfortunately, the Cafe France branch near the grocery is no longer, so I decided to head home for lunch.
Bonding time with the outdoor kitties happened in the afternoon once the neighbor was gone yesterday. I leave the main screen door open a bit while I bring out a chair and sit outside for a while. It has helped cool down the flat a little. Cutietoo worries me as he sleeps in such a relaxing way in the middle of the hallway. I think he knows it's safe to sleep with outsiders now out of the building. π Well, neighbors are closed today and tomorrow too. I left the main screen door open from the morning. I'm super glad for the privacy and quiet. πβ€οΈπ‘
Happy 4th Anniversary We Are Alive Tribe
I'm honestly thankful to Erik for the #iamalivechallenge that came just at the right time all those years ago. Those were troubling times at the start of the plandemic. Joining the challenge somehow put my mind at ease and made me look forward to each and every day. I felt right at home with the tribe that I officially made it my home on Hive. πβ€οΈπ‘ Somehow the practice of being grateful each day has helped me cope with the challenges that happened in my life. It was ironic I was celebrating #aliveandthriving when we lost Mom in 2021. Then over the next few years I lost a few of my beloved furbabies -- Midnight, Maize, Kuai, Twilight, Grumpy, Miny, Nian, Bon and a few more of the kittens. π Despite the feeling of loss, somehow I'm able to continue on. For that, I am thankful. It feels good to grow with the flow of life. I pray that as I begin my sixth year starting next week, I will be celebrating more happy moments.

shoutout to @shadowspub for the daily prompt (subscribe to her newsletter)
What kind of world are we headed into? I'm not sure and I do not have answers. There are too many factors beyond my control. What I can do is be the best I can be for the world we live in. Although honestly, I enjoy having less interactions with other folks. π My wish is to see more folks having more compassion for animals and more care for the environment. More peace, less war, and a better life for all too. πβ€οΈπ‘

I got to purchase frozen radish cake yesterday, sliced it into bite size pieces, and cooked them all. I think I got tired 'coz of that. π I really enjoyed it for dinner last night and the entire day today. π I did purchase a few other ready to eat meals so I can prepare those in the next few days.
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I crossed $9 on LL today. Just a few more days and I will be able to cash out again.
It's a wrap tonight. I thought it best to write my post first before doing other activities before I get tired again. π Wishing y'all a wonderful weekend. I'm simply glad for a long break from day work. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
