Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de @motherhood. Espero que con el favor de Dios todos estén pasando un lindo feliz fin de semana, por acá les cuento que yo estoy muy activada con actividades de mis princesas.
Por un lado, ando en los preparativos de sus bautizos, ya que las dos serán bautizadas en este mes con el favor de Dios, y ando haciéndole sus vestidos, un reto más en la costura, luego les estaré mostrando.
Otro, es que estoy en la organización de sus fiestas de promoción. Una de las actividades a realizar es mandar a elaborar unas camisas de despedidas, una tradición que se ha venido afianzando desde hace unos años para acá en estos niveles educativos.
Recuerdo que cuando estaba en la universidad, finalizando nos mandábamos hacer nuestras camisas, primero lo hacíamos para el servicio comunitario y luego las camisas de despedidas para ir a nuestras caravanas, por lo general era algo que se veía más que todo cuando alcanzábamos esa meta del título universitario.
Sin embargo, desde algunos años para acá, ahora esta actividad también lo hacían los jóvenes que salían del bachillerato, y como todo va evolucionando, ahora esta tradición también se está fomentando en los estudios de primaria y de preescolar.
Así que nos unimos a esta iniciativa y los representantes del preescolar y de la escuela de mis princesas queríamos que nuestros niños también tuvieran sus camisas de despedida. En esta oportunidad fui a buscar la información para pasárselo a ambos grupos de representantes que estamos en estos preparativos.
Fui al lugar para ver la calidad de la sublimación y la tela y verificar los precios tanto en bolívares como en divisas, puesto que según el modo de pago es un precio diferente.
En esta oportunidad mis próximas, graduandos, me acompañaron para ver qué modelos podía escoger y también se antojaron de unas pijamas, ya que tienen estas prendas, así como trajes de baño, estolas y otras cosas que puedes mandar hacer en este negocio. Me llevé la sorpresa de que el modelo que habíamos escogido los representantes era con los nombres de cada niño y resulta que era un dólar más.
Cosa que le estuve comunicando algunos representantes al otro día al entrar a clases, sin embargo, no se los comuniqué a todos por el grupo, porque ya se lo había comunicado al grupo de primaria y son tantos mensajes que de verdad a veces me confundo.
Así que mandé hacer las camisas sin personalizar, ya que ese era el presupuesto que tenía. Resulta que cuando los representantes se dieron cuenta de que cuando hice el apartado de las camisas, decía que eran sin personalizar, todos querían con el nombre así que aguante el pedido y volví a decirle a los padres que pasaran el nombre de su niño, cómo querían que aparecieran en las camisas, fue un proceso, pero se logró.
Para mí esto será un bonito recuerdo que mi princesa tendrá de su promoción y esa es una prenda que se podrá estar poniendo todo el tiempo que quiera y le quede.
Todavía nos faltan cosas por concretar. Como el fotógrafo, creo que la semana que viene nos vamos a reunir nuevamente para poder hacer el contrato con los proveedores de este servicio, cosa que también se ha hecho tradición en estos niveles de estudios más bajos.

A tradition that is taking hold | Farewell shirts

On one hand, I am preparing for their baptisms, since both of them will be baptized this month with God's favor, and I am making their dresses, one more sewing challenge, I will be showing you later.
Another one is that I am in the organization of their promotion parties. One of the activities to be done is to make some farewell shirts, a tradition that has been taking hold for a few years now in these educational levels.
I remember when I was in college, when we finished we had our shirts made, first we did it for community service and then the farewell shirts to go to our caravans, it was usually something that was seen mostly when we reached the goal of the university degree.
However, since a few years ago, now this activity was also done by young people coming out of high school, and as everything is evolving, now this tradition is also being encouraged in elementary and preschool studies.
So we joined this initiative and the representatives of the preschool and my princesses' school wanted our children to also have their farewell shirts. In this opportunity I went to look for the information to pass it to both groups of representatives that we are in these preparations.
I went to the place to see the quality of the sublimation and the fabric and to verify the prices both in bolivars and in foreign currency, since depending on the method of payment is a different price.
In this opportunity my next ones, graduates, accompanied me to see what models I could choose and they also craved for some pajamas, since they have these garments, as well as bathing suits, stoles and other things that you can have made in this business. I was surprised to find that the model that we representatives had chosen was with the names of each child and it turned out to be a dollar more.
I was communicating this to some of the representatives the next day when I went to class, however, I did not communicate it to all of them through the group, because I had already communicated it to the primary group and there are so many messages that sometimes I get confused.
So I had the shirts made without personalization, since that was the budget I had. It turns out that when the reps realized that when I made the section for the shirts, it said they were unpersonalized, they all wanted them with the name so I held off on the order and went back and told the parents to pass on their child's name, how they wanted them to appear on the shirts, it was a process, but it was accomplished.
For me this will be a nice souvenir that my princess will have of her promotion and this is a garment that she will be able to wear as long as she wants and it will fit her.
We still have a few things to finalize. Like the photographer, I think that next week we are going to meet again to make the contract with the providers of this service, something that has also become a tradition in these lower levels of studies.
