Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday's weather was extremely changing. In typical Michigan fashion, we had alternating moments with sun, rain, wind and even snow. With the snow, I got hopeful, unfortunately it didn't stick. But when we got ready for our long daily walk, the sun and blue sky had won the battle.
And the Moon was proudly shining in the blue sky.
Just for a split second, I got scared when Kaia chased three deer. They were on the other side of the street. But when I yelled, she stopped just at the street and came back. I was very proud, albeit a bit surprised she behaved so well. Even the deer looked surprised!
Then Le Chat joined, so while they explored together, Kaia started to forget about the deer, though still checking in their direction from time to time.
After they hung out for a while, we headed to the forest. The sunset was getting close.
But we made it to the forest before the sun completely disappeared behind the trees.
And that gave us some beautiful views, including nice reflections in the bigger rain water puddles.
The new teepee I just mentioned in my previous post is already down! I suspect this is not natural cause though, it wasn't that windy for that center tree to break down.
We caught the very last sunset colors near the main road at the forest edge.
And as usual cut back through the forest to start on our way back.
Not only do we prefer walking on the trail than on the street, but I cannot refuse one last muddy splash to Kaia!
And that was it. Not a super active day to start the week but the final step count is pretty good nonetheless. Let's see if that is sufficient to keep me near the top of #Poliac competition.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
