In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Artefacto: Gustavo Cerati

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Magia of the argentine artist Gustavo Cerati.
I will not get tired of repeating it, but Gustavo Cerati is in the top of the most influential Latin artists in the history of music. His influence in music transcends generations and borders. He redefined Rock en Español with his band Soda Stereo and also in his solo stage where he experimented with more modern music.
During my childhood, I always lived with the influence of the music my mother listened to. In Argentina, national rock is quite popular, so I grew up listening to artists like Charly Garcia, Gustavo Cerati, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Fito Paez and bands like Rata Blanca, Soda Stereo, Seru Giran, Virus and Los Abuelos de la Nada. As I reached my teenage years, I became interested in some more modern national rock bands such as Attaque 77, Callejeros, Las Pastillas del Abuelo and Ciro y Los Persas, but I had not yet delved so deeply into the rock of other generations.
Just two years ago, after listening to all of Charly Garcia's musical repertoire, I became quite fanatical about him. So much so that I consider him the most important artist in Argentina. At that time, a friend recommended me Gustavo Cerati's album “Siempre es hoy”. Until that moment, I knew many songs from his participation in Soda Stereo but very few from his solo stage. Siempre es Hoy is an album that I loved, with songs like Vivo, Cosas Imposibles, No te creo, Artefacto, Naci para esto, Tu Cicatriz en mi and Sudestada, it ended up becoming my favorite album.
Shortly before his death, Gustavo Cerati released his last album entitled Fuerza Natural in 2009. The album is at the height of his career, with songs like Deja Vu, Magia, Desastre, Rapto and Cactus, he showed again why he is one of the best artists of all time in Spanish rock.
