We have time to breathe deeply again, and that definitely makes me feel good. The week that just ended was a little taster for our upcoming free time, and although I often felt tired and somewhat stressed from compiling notes, I always had the perfect option to bring my calm back.
The weather here continues to be very changeable, with some days becoming somewhat humid and very hot, but for the most part the sun continues to shine so intensely that it's incredibly suffocating. If we add to that the average grades across all the grade levels we manage and the socialization of the rules of coexistence, you can imagine what our workdays were like.
But as everything in life has a great alternative, and as teachers we have a common denominator that isn't precisely a passion for teaching, I'm talking about the love for that concentrated, dark black coffee with its unique sweetness. We ignored the high temperatures and ventured to take a break from our process to share a sip of an energizing and warm black coffee. The companion could vary, except for the drink.
This is a valuable time where we can balance our emotions from the administrative burdens and endless pending activities to take a few minutes and share some of our own anecdotes and life experiences. There, with a cup of coffee in hand, laughter and some very insightful reflections abounded.
It was precisely there that I understood that true rest does not mean sitting still and doing nothing, but rather enjoying the small, meaningful moments that make a difference in an ordinary work week. Without a doubt, for all of us teachers who declare ourselves coffee lovers, this will be our greatest delight.

Nuevamente tenemos un tiempo para respirar profundo y eso definitivamente me hace sentir complacida, la semana que recién termina fue un pequeño abre bocas para nuestro tiempo libre que se aproximaba y aunque en muchos momentos me sentí cansada y algo estresada por la recopilación de notas, siempre tuve la opción ideal para traer mi calma nuevamente.
Por aquí el clima sigue muy cambiante algunos días medios húmedos y muy calurosos, pero en su gran mayoría el sol nos sigue abrazando con tanta intensidad que nos sofoca muchísimo y si a ello le sumamos el promedio de notas de todos los grados que administramos y la socialización de las normas de convivencia ya se imaginaran como estuvo nuestras jornadas laborales.
Pero como todo en la vida tiene una gran alternativa y como docentes tenemos un común denominador que no es la pasión por enseñar precisamente, les hablo del amor por ese negrito concentrado y con su punto único de dulzor. Hicimos caso omiso a las altas temperaturas y nos aventuramos a realizar una pausa en nuestro proceso para compartir un sorbo de un energizante y cálido negro, el acompañante podía variar, menos la bebida.
Este es un tiempo valioso donde nivelamos nuestras emociones por las cargas administrativas y el sin fin de actividades pendiente para tomarnos unos minutos y compartir un poco de nuestras propias anécdotas y experiencias de vida. Allí con la taza del café en manos las risas no se hicieron esperar y también algunas reflexiones muy nutritivas.
Es justamente allí donde comprendí que el verdadero descanso no representa estar estático y no hacer nada, por el contrario disfrutando de los pequeños y significativos momentos que marcan la diferencia en una semana común de trabajo y sin duda alguna para todos los docentes que nos declaramos amantes del café este será nuestro mayor deleite.
Espero que desde donde se encuentren tengan una excelente semana llena de muchas experiencias junto al café y que puedan acompañarlo con personas importantes y especiales para ustedes. Hasta una próxima entrega mis apreciados amantes del cafe.
