Happy Weekend Friends!
The week moved quickly. In Northwestern Pennsylvania we are in the throes of Spring. Temperatures climbed above 70 degrees. It's currently 40 degrees and will climb up to 64 degrees tomorrow.
As is customary, I'm experiencing more frequent migraine headaches, despite receiving Botox injections last month.
I am working in a new unit at work now and the pace has been very busy since January 1st. My previous role was customer service. Currently, I work in the non-clinical pharmacy unit. I answer phone calls from doctors' offices and pharmacies assisting with drug prior authorizations.
Most interactions are brief, although some may take a half of an hour. The skillset needed to excel in this role includes research, listening, the ability to communicate accurately, and writing.
I continue to work from home, which is a job perk. Because I changed positions last fall I lost out on a potentially higher raise (6%) which I earned the two prior years. This year I received 3%. My sanity is worth more.
If you're curious about the post title it is because I'm tired of daily rain and damp chill.
Tomorrow is another forecasted day of rain.
I end this post on a Caturday note. Here's Newt when we hung out with a blanket Friday night. He was happy I was chilly.
I hope this post finds you alive and thriving!
Thank you for reading.
