Hi, I was introduced to ecency by @arveno! I'm still new so I still need to learn a lot. You can call me Iris. Since I am still new, I am borrowing Arveno's account first to get used to this app. I am trying to understand how things work at ecency and share my daily stories with you guys. My work requires me to travel a lot in rural areas, so I will share a lot of interesting daily life about Indonesian citizen and landscape.
Currently I live in Malang, a quite busy city at East Java Indonesia. The weather is pretty nice, especially on rainy season. I love Malang when it rains because it brought such a calming and relaxing mood. But, due to overcrowded population, the weather became hot and humid in dry season.
Sometimes, I also stay in Surabaya, the capital of East Java. It is much more busier and livelier, but like a typical big city, it was bustling with live and activities. However, Surabaya has a lot of beautiful public parks. I like to take a leisure stroll on those parks while observing people surround me.
However, during my work, usually I visited factories in rural areas where you still can find paddy, sugar cane, and corn fields. It's very interesting to observe daily life of people on rural area, because they lead such a simple and harmonious life.
Currently, we got some extreme weather all around, so sometimes it rains heavily and even got thunderstorm. But, those would be a story for another day.
Writing has been my hobby since forever. So, it is very nice to find a community to share my stories. I also like to write poem sometimes. So, can't wait to get to know you guys!
