Hello dear community,
I reported that I had already looked into Displayport to DVI, as I was considering a PC that has Displayport connections, but my monitor doesn't, so the second one doesn't have them.
Now I need an application for work that doesn't run on my PC. So I have to use my laptop or my father's PC.
But of course the laptop only has an HDMI connection and I also need two screens.
So I quickly ordered a cable, HDMI to DVI.
I've just tested it and it works like a charm. Since the PC I would like to have also has an HDMI port, it's not a waste of money, I could also use this instead of Displayport to DVI.
But in any case, one more reason why I need a new PC.

ich hatte berichtet, das ich schon mal geschaut habe wegen Displayport auf DVI, da ich mit einem PC geliebäugelt habe, der Displayportanschlüsse hat, aber mein Monitor hat es nicht, also der zweite hat es nicht.
Nun brauche ich aber die Tage eine Anwendung beruflich die auf meinem PC nicht läuft. Somit muss mein Laptop oder ggf. der PC von meinem Vater herhalten.
Aber der Laptop hat natürlich nur einen HDMI anschluss und ich brauche auch zwei Bildschirme.
Daher habe ich mir schnell ein Kabel bestellt, HDMI zu DVI.
Grade mal getestet und es funktioniert wunder bar. Da der PC den ich gern hätte auch einen HDMI Port hat, ist es kein rausgeschmissenes Geld, ich könnte dann auch dies nutzen statt Displayport zu DVI.
Aber auf jedenfall wieder ein Grund mehr, das ich einen neuen PC benötige.
