Hello, Hive community! 👋
On January 1st (UTC), I managed to squeeze in my first #HivePUD (Hive Power Up Day) of the year—barely! It was a close call, but with just three hours to spare before the day ended, I scrambled to gather 10 Hive for my power-up. Yes, it’s a modest amount, but it was enough to earn me the HivePUD badge, and that little victory set the tone for the year ahead. 🎉
Last year, I wasn’t consistent with participating in HivePUD every month. Life and work kept pulling me away, making it tough to remember or manage a power-up on the first of each month. But this year, I’m determined to change that. My goal is to focus on powering up every month and contributing more consistently to my Hive growth.
Reflecting on 2024
Looking back at 2024, I’ll admit I slacked off compared to previous years. My day job took up so much of my time that I often found myself too preoccupied to prioritize Hive activities. But I still managed to write 142 posts—a number I’m grateful for despite the challenges.
Curious about how I performed overall, I visited Hive Recap. The insights were fascinating! Here are some highlights:
- Posts Published: 142 posts (no videos yet—still working on that!)
- Favorite Community: FreeCompliments 🌟, where I love sharing content and getting HiveSBI support.
- Second Most Active Community: Hive Gaming, where I talk about my favorite games in the Hive universe.
While my post count is something I’m proud of, my interaction—especially comments—left much to be desired. This year, I plan to step up my engagement game and be more active in conversations within the Hive ecosystem.
Goals for 2025
I’ve set my sights on some ambitious goals for this year. One of them is to reach 5,000 Hive Power (HP). I know it’s a challenging milestone, but I’m confident that with steady progress and participation in initiatives like the 365-Day Savings Challenge and The Liotes Power Challenge, I can make it happen. If I reach 5,000 HP early, I’ll raise the bar for myself—because why not aim higher?
To get there, I’ll need to stay consistent, not just with #HivePUD but also with creating valuable content and engaging with others in the community. I want to prioritize both quality and quantity this year, aiming to surpass last year’s 142 posts while ensuring they’re meaningful and helpful to readers.
Here’s my current status as of January 2nd:

- Motivation: Sky-high!
One area I’m particularly excited about this year is exploring new communities on Hive. I’ve always been active in FreeCompliments and Hive Gaming, but I know there are so many other spaces I’ve yet to discover. Being active in another communities will not only diversify my content but also help me connect with more amazing creators on the platform.
Additionally, I’m planning to try posting videos this year. While it requires more effort and better equipment, I believe it’s a worthwhile endeavor to expand my creative reach.
Wrapping Up
I’m thrilled with where I stand as we begin 2025. The HivePUD badge is just the start, and I’m ready to dive deeper into this amazing ecosystem. This year is all about growth—both personal and within Hive—and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
