                                        WELCOME TO MY BLOG

How I Discovered Hive Blockchain and Why I Joined

Back in 2021, I was going through a tough phase. I had just lost my job and had to take on a new one that didn’t sit well with me. To make matters worse, I had to move in with my boss and even change my church. Everything felt different, and honestly, I wasn’t adjusting well.

One Sunday morning, I attended my new church and sat next to a young man who had his eyes glued to his phone from the beginning of the service till the end. No distractions, no smiles—just him and his phone. I couldn’t help but wonder what was so important. After the service, curiosity got the best of me, but instead of asking what he had been doing, I played it smart—I asked him to take some pictures of me. He agreed, took a few shots, and later got my number to send them to me.

That was how the conversation started. As we kept chatting, I eventually asked him why he was always on his phone. That was when he introduced me to Hive. He was so passionate about it, explaining how it worked and why he was so invested. But if I’m being honest, I wasn’t really interested at first. He kept pushing, though—teaching me and trying to make sure I understood.

Then, things changed. He became distant, almost mean. I would ask questions, and he wouldn’t respond. At some point, I got frustrated and confused, so I just gave up on Hive. That was in 2021.

Fast forward to 2023, and we started chatting again. This time, he asked about Hive, and I told him I had completely abandoned it. Instead of leaving it at that, he offered to explain it all over again. But this time, he was different—less distant, more patient, and intentional about making sure I fully understood.

WHY I JOINED HIVE

At first, I joined out of curiosity, but what made me stay was the opportunity Hive provided. It wasn’t just a blogging platform—it was a place where creativity was rewarded, where I could share my thoughts, learn, and even earn. As I explored more, I realized Hive was more than just a platform; it was a community that encouraged growth, connection, and financial independence.

Joining Hive has been a journey of learning and persistence. Looking back, I’m really glad I gave it a second chance. This time, I’m here to stay!

Special thanks to @ddn688.

I know you’ll come across this post, and I just want to say—thank you. Thank you for not giving up on me, for pushing me even when I didn’t care, and for taking the time to guide me. Even when you were “mean,” 😂😂 I now understand it was part of the process. I appreciate you more than you know, and I’m truly grateful that you introduced me to Hive. You’re amazing—keep being you!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING.

Lol! His attention on his phone rather than the Church service. Must be a sight to behold. I hope your Church has a sermon archive so he could review the service. Glad that your curiosity got you here @quan45 ❤️
