Me encanta contar mi historia en HIVE, porque pienso que el destino tuvo que hacer su parte para traerme hasta aquí.
Yo vivía en otra ciudad, donde mis antiguos colegas aún ahora están ajenos al mundo de las criptomonedas, así que de no haber salido de allí, yo seguiría sin conocer esta blockchain y todas las demás herramientas que he aprendido en el camino.
Decidí solicitar un reubicación de localidad en mi trabajo, porque mi esposo había sido trasferido años atrás a esta ciudad en la que estoy ahora. Básicamente me vine tras él, para mantener unida a mi familia.
Mis nuevos colegas vivían la euforia de la buena valoración de sus publicaciones en la antigua cadena, que precedió a HIVE y cuyo token estaba en su mejor momento, lo que les permitía cubrir gastos importantes, ya que nuestro salario no era suficiente.
Recuerdo que uno de ellos quería renunciar a su empleo para vivir de su blog, pero gracias a Dios su hermano le convenció de que no lo hiciera, porque poco tiempo después se derrumbó el mercado, por lo que el precio de BTC y por ende de las altcoins, cayó abruptamente. Es lo que se conoce como mercado bajista, pero en aquel entonces algunos de nosotros no estábamos consientes de eso.
Yo comencé justo antes de esa caída, así que no pude disfrutar de recompensas significativas en esa época. Además, por lo general los inicios son duros, por mucho tiempo mis publicaciones quedaron en cero.
I love telling my story in HIVE, because I think fate had to do its part to bring me here.
I was living in another city, where my former colleagues are even now oblivious to the world of cryptocurrencies, so had I not left there, I would still be unaware of this blockchain and all the other tools I have learned along the way.
I decided to apply for a relocation at my job, because my husband had been transferred years ago to this city I'm in now. I basically came after him, to keep my family together.
My new colleagues were living the euphoria of the good valuation of their publications in the old chain, which preceded HIVE and whose token was at its best, which allowed them to cover important expenses, since our salary was not enough.
I remember one of them wanted to quit his job to live off his blog, but thank God his brother talked him out of it, because shortly after that the market collapsed, so the price of BTC and therefore altcoins, dropped sharply. This is what is known as a bear market, but back then some of us were not aware of that.
I started just before that drop, so I was not able to enjoy significant rewards at that time. In addition, startups are usually tough, and for a long time my publications were at zero.
Fue @enrique89, quien me llevó de la mano en mis primeros pasos para crear y escribir mi blog, yo no sabía lo qué era una criptomoneda, un exchange, ni siquiera lo que era un formato HTML, así que no debió ser fácil para él lograr que yo agarrara el hilo (Lo siento Enrique, pero siempre serás protagonista en esta historia 😂).
Mis primeras publicaciones dejaban mucho que desear, honestamente yo no sabía muy bien lo que hacía, pero lo importante fue que no me rendí.
Ante la baja del mercado, mis colegas abandonaron sus blogs y yo seguí adelante año tras año, haciendo de este espacio algo valioso para mí.
Aunque sé que tengo mucho por mejorar, no dejo de aprender y disfruto el proceso.

My first publications left a lot to be desired, honestly I did not know very well what I was doing, but the important thing was that I did not give up.
My colleagues abandoned their blogs and I kept going year after year, making this space something valuable for me.
Although I know I have a lot of room for improvement, I never stop learning and I enjoy the process.
Entonces, me hizo unirme a HIVE estar en el sitio y el momento indicado, pero lo más resaltante es lo que me hizo permanecer: La percepción de que podía construir algo importante, porque creí en el potencial que tenía esta blockchain y no me limité a aspirar resultados a corto plazo, sino a mediano y largo plazo, visión que aún mantengo.
Ustedes no tienen idea del valor que HIVE ha aportado en mi vida, no tan sólo en lo económico y social, sino en cuanto a aprendizaje.
En la selva de las redes sociales, estar aquí me hace sentir más segura.
So, being in the right place at the right time made me join HIVE, but the most important thing is what made me stay: The perception that I could build something important, because I believed in the potential that this blockchain had and I did not limit myself to aspire to short term results, but to medium and long term, a vision that I still maintain.
You have no idea of the value that HIVE has brought to my life, not only economically and socially, but also in terms of learning.
In the jungle of social networks, being here makes me feel more secure.
HIVE es mucho más que un blog, es una blockchain con muchísimas cualidades.
Por un tiempo estuve explorando otras cadenas de bloques y en mi corta experiencia, puedo decirles que un sitio donde no existen "fees" o comisiones por transacción, con la seguridad y la velocidad que se mueve todo aquí, no tiene precio.
Y ni qué decir sobre el privilegio de monetizar creando contenido y poder aprender en el camino, sin mayores inconvenientes.
Incluso tiene aún más ventajas que desconozco, como las que aplican a desarrolladores, pero eso es otro nivel.
Pienso que estoy aquí por alguna buena razón y aunque tengo grandes expectativas para el futuro, con lo que ha aportado este ecosistema a mi vida, me doy por servida.
HIVE is much more than a blog, it is a blockchain with many qualities.
For a while I was exploring other blockchains and in my short experience, I can tell you that a site where there are no transaction fees or commissions, with the security and speed at which everything moves here, is priceless.
And what about the privilege of monetizing by creating content and being able to learn along the way, without major inconveniences.
It even has even more advantages that I don't know about, such as those that apply to developers, but that's another level.
I think I'm here for a good reason and although I have great expectations for the future, with what this ecosystem has brought to my life, I'm satisfied.
