Ayer al preparar mi mochila con las cosas necesarias para mi inicio de clases, recordé que no tengo un bolso adecuado para llevar mi almuerzo, y mientras pensaba como podría resolver mi pequeño dilema, busqué inspiración a través de varias aplicaciones en internet y aunque no conseguí una como tal, me sirvieron para poder diseñar una lonchera a mi propio estilo y desde cero.
Yesterday while preparing my backpack with the necessary things for the start of my classes, I remembered that I don't have a proper bag to carry my lunch, and while I was thinking how I could solve my little dilemma, I looked for inspiration through various applications on the internet and although I didn't get one as such, they helped me to design a lunchbox in my own style and from scratch.
Aprovechando que aun me queda tela de la que hice la mochila, nada mejor que hacerle juego, así que corté en tela y en forro un rectángulo de 40 cm de ancho por 66 cm de largo, para el asa usé una pieza de cinta Poly, también usé 43 cm de cremallera con dos cursores.
Taking advantage of the fact that I still have some of the fabric I used to make the backpack, nothing better than matching it, so I cut a rectangle of 40 cm wide by 66 cm long, for the handle I used a piece of Poly tape, I also used 43 cm of zipper with two runners.
Ya teniendo todo listo comencé cociendo la tela principal y la del forro a la cremallera en ambos lados.
Once I had everything ready I started sewing the main fabric and the lining fabric to the zipper on both sides.
Luego voltee dejando la tela principal por dentro y doblé dejando 10 cm desde la cremallera a la parte superior, seguido marqué un recuadro de 8 cm en cada esquina y corté las esquinas.
Then I turned the main fabric inside out and folded leaving 10 cm from the zipper to the top, I then marked an 8 cm square on each corner and cut the corners.
Posteriormente enfrente la pieza principal a la del forro y cosí por los laterales.

Volteé de nuevo dejando el forro expuesto y ajusté las esquinas, en la parte superior ajuste la cinta en la parte superior y cosí junto a un bies, para tapar la costura y listo ya tengo donde llevar mi almuerzo a clase.
I flipped again leaving the lining exposed and adjusted the corners, at the top I adjusted the ribbon at the top and sewed along with a bias binding to cover the seam and now I have a place to take my lunch to class.
Este proyecto me llevó unas dos horas pues al intentar coser dejando las costura ocultas no pude así que decidí colocarle bies y tampoco lo conseguí por lo que recorte 4 piezas de tafeta y listo problema resuelto.
This project took me about two hours because when I tried to sew leaving the seam hidden I couldn't so I decided to put bias binding and I couldn't either so I cut 4 pieces of taffeta and that was it, problem solved.
