Today I want to show you one of the very interesting inhabitants of the dense forest, it is a species of insect popularly known as "Mictis longicornis" is one of the insects known for its unique legs, if insects generally have slender and short legs, but not with this insect, as you can see the Mictis longicornis insect has long and slender legs that look like small tree branches, while the color of its body is dark brown making them camouflage experts among dry weed bushes.

I found this Mictis longicornis insect while exploring the forest near my house some time ago, I found them up to one of the weed plants with a very calm stature, this insect caught my attention because of its unique appearance, besides its slender legs and two long horns on the head of the insect are other attractions that make Mictis longicornis look very beautiful for a species of their size, I captured some pictures for my personal collection.

As far as I know about the world of insects and Mictis longicornis is one of the herbivores and also hunters of small insects so they are known as natural predators, usually Mictis longicornis only prey on small insects that are around them, by utilizing the color of their bodies they will be very easy to pounce on prey because their presence is very difficult to detect.
