hi everyone, today I want to show you some photos of land snails that I found while walking in the forest near my house a few days ago, the land snails that I found this time were relatively small and were living on a climbing weed tree, the land snails that I share with you today are known by the scientific name "Orthalicus princeps".

are you familiar with this species?

Orthalicus princeps is a species of snail known locally in Indonesia as a land snail and some call it a principal snail, a snail with its own uniqueness and charm has been widely known and loved by nature lovers, this snail "Orthalicus princeps" is included in the streptaxidae family and usually they are in weed bushes relying on cool weather to survive.

The characteristic of Orthalicus princeps is their spiral-shaped shell and large size when these snails are adults, Orthalicus princeps has a brown and white color with a striped pattern that creates a very beautiful visual effect, if you want to see their bodies in more detail then you have to find them at night because these snails are only active at night to get food, for us as farmers these snails are part of a very destructive pest where they will devour all cultivated plants such as chilies, tomatoes and so on.
