Hello everybody! We are back again with the Splinterlands content, summarizing everything that happened in the last few days.
I have quite a few things to tell: I've improved my deck a lot and I've participated in my first tournament in the game. Let's see how it went.

Tengo bastantes cosas que contar: he mejorado bastante mi deck y he participado en mi primer torneo en el juego. Veremos que tal me fue.
This week, I had the opportunity to play my first Splinterlands tournament: it was a tournament organized by the Splinterlands team itself, where you could participate with Modern Ranked cards and adept level cap summoners.
From the beginning, I knew it was going to be a bit complicated because I'm used to use Advanced Cap summoners, which allows me to take advantage of abilities in certain cards that are not available at lower levels.
En esta semana, he tenido la oportunidad de jugar mi primer torneo de Splinterlands: se trataba de un torneo organizado por el propio equipo de Splinterlands, dónde se podia participar con cartas de Modern Ranked y invocadores de adept level cap.

I signed up for the tournament and as soon as it started I was filling in my first teams. I was lucky that in my first battle, one of the opponents gave up, so I started with a positive record of 1-0.
Me anoté al torneo y, apenas comenzó, empecé a cargar mis primeros equipos. Tuve la suerte de que en mi primera batalla el rival se rindió, así que arranqué con un historial positivo de 1-0.
In one of the following battles, I had to fight with an acquaintance of Splinterlands: @flummi97. I follow a lot of his posts, so I knew he had a very good deck and I had to build a solid strategy to beat him.
I didn't manage to recover the whole battle, but it was pretty close. At the beginning I didn't have much faith, but miraculously I managed to turn the situation around. I ended up winning with the last card standing: Chimney Wallstop.
En una de las siguientes batallas, me tocó pelear con un conocido de Splinterlands: @flummi97. Sigo bastantes sus publicaciones, por lo que sabia que tenia un muy buen deck y tenia que armar una estrategia solida para ganarle.
No logré recuperar toda la batalla, pero estuvo bastante reñida. Al principio no me tenía mucha fe, pero milagrosamente logré dar vuelta la situación. Terminé ganando con la última carta en pie: Chimney Wallstop.
Those two victories gave me hope of qualifying for the next round. But the truth is that I underestimated the tournament for having a “Bronze” name.
The other nine battles, I ended up losing and I have been totally out of the ranking to receive any reward in SPS.
I think that for the next one, I should practice a little more and adapt better to the change of level in the summoners.
Esas dos victorias me daban esperanza de poder calificar para la próxima ronda. Pero lo cierto, es que subestime el torneo por tener de nombre de "Bronce".
Las otros nueve batallas, las he terminado perdiendo y he quedado totalmente fuera del ranking para recibir alguna recompensa en SPS.
Creo que para la próxima, debo de practicar un poco más y adaptarme mejor al cambio de nivel en los invocadores.
After finishing my first tournament, I made the decision to keep trying. So that meant that I would have to invest a little more DEC in improving the cards in my decks, to have more variety in elements that I didn't use as much as Life and Death.
The first thing I did was buy summoners of all elements that are at least level 4. I had a lot of cards that didn't bring out their full potential because I had level 3 summoners.
Luego de finalizar mi primer torneo, he tomado la decisión de seguir intentandolo. Por lo que eso significaba que tendria que invertir un poco más de DEC en mejorar las cartas de mis mazos, para tener más variedad en elementos que no usaba tanto como Life y Death.
Lo primero que hice fue comprar invocadores de todos los elementos que sean al menos de nivel 4. Tenia muchas cartas que no sacaban su máximo potencial porque tenia invocadores nivel 3.
The improvement in my deck took effect quite fast, in the first days of the season I started to win a lot of games, so I climbed from Gold 3 to Gold 1, faster than I thought.
La mejora en mi mazo hizo efecto bastante rápido, en los primeros dias de temporada he empezado a ganar bastante partidas, por lo que he escalado de Oro 3 a Oro 1, más rapido de lo que creia.
I finished the last two seasons at Gold I, although I only managed to reach that rank in the last two days. This leaves me with the feeling that reaching Diamond in the final days is not crazy, but a real possibility.
Another positive thing is that the difference between Glint and SPS earned in Gold 3 and Gold 1 is abysmal. I have accumulated more and more SPS, so if I keep winning in higher ELO, I will probably reach in a month the amount of 10,000 SPS.
Las últimas dos temporadas las terminé en Oro I, aunque solo logré llegar a ese rango en los últimos dos días. Esto me deja con la sensación de que alcanzar Diamante en los días finales no es una locura, sino una posibilidad real.
Otra de las cosas positivas, es que la diferencia ganada de Glint y SPS en Oro 3 y Oro 1, es abismal. Cada vez llevo más SPS acumulado, por lo que si sigo ganando en ELO más alto, probablemente llegué en un mes a la cantidad de 10.000 SPS.
Splinterlands is going through a very good moment, many players have returned and the price of SPS is skyrocketing. Not only that, but the new Conclave Arcana set is coming out soon. When they come out, I will most likely buy a pack or two to try my luck.
My account continues to grow steadily, and I hope to reach a higher rank soon to fill up on GLINT.

Splinterlands esta atravesando un muy buen momento, han vuelto muchos jugadores y el precio del SPS se esta disparando. No es solo eso, sino que en poco tiempo saldra el nuevo set Conclave Arcana. Cuando salgan, es muy probable que compré uno o dos packs para probar suerte.
Mi cuenta sigue creciendo constantemente, y espero alcanzar un rango superior pronto para llenarme de GLINT.
