First, I would like to say how I amaze of the new Legendary Summoners from the Rebellion Series ! It's remind me of those powerfull summoners on the old series like the Yodin, Llama, etc. Not only powerfull ability, they also having dual element for more monsters and new strategy combination !
Let's take a look at them :

We can see that most of them are dual element except for the dragon, and each summoner have a fixed buff plus an optional buffs. This makes them become very flexible to adapt based on the enmies strategy and try to counter them with the right buffs.

Summoner that getting most of my attention is the eternal tofu and elias Max Pruitt.
The tofu is becoming the new mylor for anti melee, and he could give a very usefull triage to heal the backline and the scavenger to makes a monster become a very tough with high hp. Imagine a monster like Quora, getting more bloodlust with the thorn, then having higher HP and more regen effect for that, could become a very hard to beat !

The second summoner is Ellias Max Pruitt. Beside the fact that I really loved the water and life elementm his effect is suitable with my playing style. Armor for a protection against physical and a physical damage addition for the melee hitter suitable for my assasination playing style. And the new ability which give monster the chance to attack with their armor is very interesting, especially combined with the pierce that can exceed the armor into the health point. The armor hit itself can getting the pierce effect !

Using Elias Max Pruitt for the Battle

Beside the armored strike and pierce ability for aggresive playing, Elias Max Pruitt can giving another option of buff, which is the repair armor and cleanse to support the team for defensive play. The repair armor could become a special effect that help the monster to survive longer, especially on 1-1 situation, they could be unbeatable on the physical battle without a pierce or against magic if the monster is having void armor, and the cleanse is perfect for the poison ruleset or enemies with many debuffs.

Based on the situation, I'm thinking about the perfect match to use him with the monster that can create a synergy for winning a match.

#1. Since there is cleanse, then poison ruleset is the first condition that match the summoner buff.
#2. Next for the repair armor, I prefer a monster that having the void armor to go against magician, or using this summoner on the lost magic ruleset with no magician.
#3. For getting the 1-1 situation, I think about using it on the low mana ruleset.
#4. To anticipate the monster with repair armor as well, it's better to have a monster with pierce or having retaliate or backfire to hit back enemies armor before hit their health point on the same turn.

Here is the monster that I think is very effective to be used on those situation. He got the void armor which will suit the repair armor to fight against any kind of attack, and retaliate to help eliminate enemies, making a 1-1 situation earlier or fight against enemies armor if they have repair armor as well.

Battle Example

Now let's move into the battle example. You can watch the battle on https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_7a0a094154d90b1939fafe056b4ee9f3 , but I will also share it here.

Here is the formation of both team. There is the poison ruleset with only 12 mana cap available. The perfect situation as I've explained to use the cleanse buff and repair armor. I only use 1 monster because I'm affraid that the repair armor would go for the wrong target.

On my enemies side, he looks like trying to waste time with many monster on the front, and left with high health monster on the back, trying to take advantage from the poison to hurt my monster that sadly won't happen cause I have the cleanse from the summoner !

1st round already done a lot, with my monster manage to eliminate 2 of enemies monster thanks to the retaliate ability. This makes 1-1 situation for the second round. With no pierce, and the repair armor, we already know that my monster would be unbeatable because it would never getting hurt with the armor keep protect it.

Succesfull strategy bring victory !

Conclussion

Legendary Rebellion Summoner are Beast especially on the Modern League, they are having dual element for bring 2 element monster if possible, and could selecting an optional buff beside the main buff for adapting on the enemies strategy and ruleset. There might be several condition that suit on each buff, try to adapt based on it and you might get easy win against your enemies !
