This is the first time I am posting at eating out because for the first time after a really long time, I actually am eating out at a restaurant 🙃 😅
Probably one of the only reason that kept this part of the mall 3 Damansara alive at this part of the section is this restaurant, because when we booked the place for an extended family gathering, the whole place looked like a "dead town"
Gone with the days when the mall was buzzling with people and music even before 10am starts. Now, it is so quiet that when you walk there you can hear your own echoing footsteps.
However this place is still buzzling with "literal life" as when you come to the entrance you can see the live fishes swiming in their tanks, waiting for their "final call for its service".
Of course, we spared them in this visit
Besides, my 2 elderly were having fun looking at the fishes like kids before going in. Not a good day for the fishes sacrifice. 😬
Internal look of the restaurant
Char Kueh Kak- stirr fried white radish cubes
Fried White Raddish Cakes
Kung Fu Chao / Wat Dan Hor : Fried Broad Rice Noodles with Egg Sauce
Super Smooth Taufu Fa : Tofu pudding with sweet ginger brown sugar syrup
Besides the nice internal deco of the restaurant, this place is actually quite famous for its "dim sum" Chinese style breakfast.
The dishes doesn’t look much but from fried white raddish to tofu-fa dessert, char kuey teow and bbq sweet sauce pork dumplings, before you know it, the small bites pile up and by the time the last dumpling 🥟 was consumed, you end with a full satisfying belly.
Of course, the taste can't totally match with other fancier joints, but for the price and the taste, it is still not bad.
Not too spicy for kids and seniors, and the waiters (seevers) are very friendly and polite.
A value for money overall experience I must say.
We didn’t call beef (as some like the char beef noodles), but Dim Sum in Malaysia is always pro on the fishballs, the pork and the chicken, not to mention its flavourful congee (savoury porridge)
How about you?
Would you have a heavy on the meat kind if breakfast, or sweet is the way to go?
Until Then
Stay healthy, stay curious and learn new things, and stay happy!
