This is a rather atypical post, it's not about a specific photographic journey, an outing in search of a special shot or a previously imagined concept. I want to vary a little today, so I share with you some pictures of what was a common and usual day, images that start from the time I work to an outing to the woods of Palermo in Buenos Aires.
During the break time at my workplace my colleagues and I were together chatting as usual and it occurred to me to take a picture of these two colleagues and it was quite interesting, I mean their gestures and expressions of each one at that precise moment.
Meanwhile this other fellow is using his phone, as he usually does, I can imagine he was watching reels of squares (he's obsessed with it and travel 😅). These are spontaneous portraits that in black and white look quite meaningful, depending on your point of view obviously.
I don't know if everyone has knowledge about "Mate", Argentine herbal drink that they tend to consume very regularly. That fellow above had left his mate there to sit and use his phone, I took a picture of this.
As I was leaving work and before entering this station I was observing how the light was divided at this moment, shadow on the right and a strip of light at the entrance of the subway station, it seemed like a good idea for a photo.
Before I got off I saw my shadow and thought why not, it might be visually interesting in black and white, so.... Here it is 🙂
Hours later and as usual most of the people now in summer usually visit many parks, squares and in this case the woods of Palermo, but before that I was waiting in a place to rent a bike and go there.
I took this picture while I was waiting.
Only two pictures I took during my stay in the woods, my idea was really to disconnect from technology and connect with nature, walk barefoot on the grass and sand (it is a personal therapy), however I leave you these two images.
The last picture is a stick on a log, this was made by a child who was playing there, I imagine he thought of a lever or was looking for balance. Interesting...
That's all, folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating!
