End of a chapter
After being forced to give up my small business as an artisan waxworker and consultant, I turned my attention back to the classic job search.
Let me remind you that the recession had taken its toll on my sales, and the “SACE” agreed with me that it was better not to insist.
But that doesn't mean we've given up on the idea of getting back on track.
New one
As now, it's my wife who takes over.
She has just finished her first novel, and we still have to finalize the cover then to decide how to distribute it.
But she has also signed a test contract to work as a freelance secretary.
She'll be looking to work for professions such as lawyers and doctors. And also to relieve other secretaries who have extra work to do.
For my part, I'll do everything I can to help her in her endeavors, just as she helped me in mine.
Continuous efforts
In parallel, we both continue to blog and do manual curation to help finish the month.
And, of course, we continue to stack our little treasures gleaned here and there ...
Let's hope this helps us reach our respective goals, and keep our fingers crossed that we find the perfect job on my side to speed up the process.
Because with the current political situation... The whole thing is admittedly a little stressful.
