Belgium is changing, and it changes fast.
Until now, we were entitled to a replacement income that was not limited in time. Normal, since we had paid contributions for this right and we had duties to respect, and I was doing my best to fulfil them.
Unfortunately, our new right-wing, not to say extreme, government is convinced that abolishing this right, without proposing any real solution, will improve the situation.
So I'm going to have to find a job, or create one, within the next 8 months, otherwise I'll be in a lot of trouble.
My failure with S.A.C.E. shows that entrepreneurship is rather complicated in times of recession. So I'm looking for a traditional job.
To tell you that I'm ready for anything, I've even asked chatGPT for help, which, you'd be surprised, is pretty good advice.
There's no need to panic, there's still 8 months to go. On the other hand, we really must accept all the help we can get to find the job that will keep us safe from these anti-social fanatics...
I've noticed that this right-wing movement is fairly widespread, not just in Europe. I hope it's not an ominous sign of a paradigm shift that could really hurt us all.
Let's roll up our sleeves. And courage to all for the troubled times ahead!
