Hace un tiempo leí una hermosa historia con un mensaje muy inspirador, esta historia hablaba de un pequeño colibrí, quien se encontraba en un bosque muy tenebroso y en medio del caos por un gran incendio. El fuego se extendía con mucha rapidez y solo se escuchaba el rugir de la vegetación al arder las ramas por el fuerte calor del fuego incesante, mientras tanto todos los animales del bosque corrían con mucha prisa y buscaban salir del incendio.
Pero para sorpresa de todo el colibrí iba de regreso al bosque llevando en su pico una gota de agua para tratar de apagar el incendio, esto lo repitió en varias oportunidades sin tomar en cuenta el calor desafiante y el fuerte humo que hacía. Hasta que uno de los animales tuvo la osadía de preguntar ¿Qué es lo que estás haciendo? Y el pequeño colibrí le respondió yo solo estoy haciendo mi parte en este proceso.
Ahora mi apreciado amigo lector partiendo de este pequeño relato yo te quiero preguntar ¿Qué estás haciendo tú actualmente? El amor es un sentimiento genuino, pequeño, pero poderoso, con la potestad de poder mover hasta las montañas, muchas veces pensamos que nuestras acciones no tienen la capacidad de cambiar al mundo y nos quedamos en puro pensamiento y no accionamos, sin tomar en cuenta que las cosas se construyen paso a paso y por lo tanto podemos ser los precursores de las semillas del amor y la esperanza de aquellos que no la conocen.
Son justamente esos pequeños y hasta a veces insignificantes detalles y momentos los que marcan la diferencia y se pueden convertir en esa pequeña luciérnaga que guié nuestros pasos o los de otros en una noche muy oscura, que nos inspire a no darnos por vencido aun cuando el camino este oscuro y llenos de muchos tropiezos, esa diminuta luz nos permite mantenernos atentos y aviva los anhelos de nuestro corazón.
Existe algo que todos debemos preguntarnos siempre ¿Cómo queremos ser recordados mañana? Personalmente siento que no soy una persona con grandes acciones, pero sé que las pequeñas que he desarrollado han permitido alentar a otros, que tengo abrazos restauradores y siempre he declarado el poder de la palabra en mi vida, es por ello que me gusta afirmar a los que me rodean, alimentar su confianza y eso son pequeños, pero imborrables accionen que me han definido con el pasar de los años.
Y es que en cada paso que doy entiendo que no necesitamos de grandes proezas para darnos a conocer o hacernos sentir, a veces solo necesitamos hacer nuestra parte en el momento correcto, tal como lo hizo ese pequeño colibrí, quien decidió desafiar las adversidades del bosque y simplemente no huir como el montón, cada uno de nosotros tenemos un diseño único que nos permite ser diferente y por lo tanto cultivar el amor primeramente en nosotros mismos y por lo tanto reflejarlo en los demás.
Todos tenemos la fabulosa opción de aportar algo valioso y significativo para los que nos rodean, no importa que no tengamos alas como el colibrí o la luciérnaga, existen muchos héroes sin capa que nos inspiran a ser agentes de cambios y trasformación personal. Some time ago I read a beautiful story with a very inspiring message, this story spoke of a small hummingbird, who was in a very dark forest and in the midst of chaos because of a big fire. The fire was spreading very quickly and only the roar of the vegetation could be heard as the branches burned due to the strong heat of the incessant fire, meanwhile all the animals in the forest were running in a hurry and trying to get out of the fire.
But to everyone's surprise, the hummingbird was returning to the forest carrying a drop of water in its beak to try to put out the fire, this was repeated several times without taking into account the defiant heat and the strong smoke. Until one of the animals had the audacity to ask, "What are you doing? And the little hummingbird replied I am just doing my part in this process.
Now my dear reader friend, from this little story I would like to ask you, what are you doing now? Love is a genuine feeling, small but powerful, with the power to move even mountains, many times we think that our actions do not have the capacity to change the world and we stay in pure thought and do not act, without taking into account that things are built step by step and therefore we can be the precursors of the seeds of love and hope for those who do not know it.
It is precisely those small and sometimes even insignificant details and moments that make the difference and can become that little firefly that guides our steps or those of others on a very dark night, that inspires us not to give up even when the road is dark and full of many obstacles. That tiny light allows us to stay alert and fuels the desires of our hearts.
There's something we should all always ask ourselves: How do we want to be remembered tomorrow? Personally, I don't feel like I'm a person with grand deeds, but I know the small ones I've done have encouraged others. I have restorative hugs. I've always declared the power of words in my life. That's why I like to affirm those around me, nurture their confidence. These are small but indelible actions that have defined me over the years.
And with every step I take, I understand that we don't need great feats to make ourselves known or felt, sometimes we just need to do our part at the right time, just like that little hummingbird did, who decided to challenge the adversities of the forest and simply not run away like the crowd, each one of us has a unique design that allows us to be different and therefore cultivate love first in ourselves and therefore reflect it in others.
We all have the fabulous option to contribute something valuable and meaningful to those around us, it doesn't matter if we don't have wings like the hummingbird or the firefly, there are many heroes without capes that inspire us to be agents of change and personal transformation.
