Sometimes, reminding oneself of the past has a way of affecting the present. It's often said that “Experience is the best teacher.” This is true because one learns better from previous mistakes.
While checking my gallery today, I observed a section of my photo app which segmented some photos and named the album “A year old photos.” I decided to check up on these photos and I found out they were photos I took on a bad day. That day, it was a public holiday just like today. On that fateful day, I took that chance of a school-free time to go sort out some of my documents at the stamping office. But the night before that day, I was too lazy to package all the documents I needed for the next day. That left me rushing to pack them that morning. Due to rushing, I forgot a particular document and on getting to the office, I found out that I had missed picking one of the most important documents. I had no choice than to return home. My punishment was the waste of transportation fare because the distance was far and cost me a lot. That stressful experience taught me a great lesson.
Another lesson I learned from those photos that are a year old today is that time flies and time waits for no man. So whatever you have to do now do it knowing that time waits for no man. Now here is everything you need to know about my clean activity for today:
Waking up this morning, I scheduled the activities I had to do for the day and guess what, my cleaning activity was the first on the list because today being a public holiday I had no activities to carry out at school, so making my cleaning activity prior to every other house chores won't really be a big deal.
For the past two or three days I have missed my cleaning activity and that's not me. But yesterday we had the opportunity to have some hired laborers to clear the grasses by my street. This didn't only make the streets look great but also helped me in a very important way. Clearing the grasses helped expose some of those trash that often stuck within the grass or sometimes got hidden under the grass.
So after opening the gate this morning, the first thing I did outside of my home was to clean up my streets by gradually picking up every trash from my gate to the end of my street and properly putting each trash into the picking back. I also used my usual picking back which is a transparent bag for a more authentic cleaning activity.
Since most of the trash which was hidden under grass had been exposed, I had mini trash to pick. Today is one of the days that I had to squeeze my picking bag several times just to accommodate more and more trash. So after I tried my best by squeezing the transplant and trying to make it accommodate more waste I finally cleaned the environment and made it take a greater look. At this point the trash bag was full and I had to properly dispose of it in the waste container.
After properly disposing of the trash bag into the waste container, I called it a day.
I'm happy because I did my cleaning activity today without procrastinating and I pray that this week won't be like last week and I won't skip days of my clean activity.
