Nothing is more than health,” I can say this with all audacity. Being healthy is one of the greatest gifts after life, life is absolutely meaningless without health. I've been to hospitals and I've seen patients who due to their conditions wish for death. Some of them pray that death should take them because they are tired of life. Being healthy and alive are the greatest gifts one can have each day.
When you are healthy, then you can think of how to put food on your table because a sick man lies on a bed and waits to be fed. Only a healthy person can have plans for the future because a sick man's only plan begins effectively after good health is regained. I feel sorry for most countries whose healthcare services are nothing to talk about, such is mine as well but I'm God we survive.
Good health doesn't come and stay, we actually have good health by the things we do. Imagine not observing personal hygiene and environmental hygiene, such an individual is liable to contracting certain diseases that would definitely tamper with one's good health.
Engaging in regular cleaning activities can go a long way to boosting our good health as many disease vectors are being kept off. Rats, cockroaches, flies and hostile animals like snakes are always attracted to dirty environments. Regularly cleaning up one's surroundings is a step forward to ensuring good health.
After personal hygiene, environmental hygiene should come next.
I'm a living example of what I teach others to become. So I did my cleaning activity this morning before leaving for church because I know the importance. One of the other advantages of regularly keeping one's environment clean is that it attracts a good reputation to those living around that area.
Just like I did my cleaning activity this morning, everyone passing by my street to their destination will actually notice the cleanliness of the area and would have that feeling of “nice work”.
