A small dose of self-love: it's part of savoring life with a cup of coffee

I declare myself a great coffee lover. I do not have a scheduled time during the day, but without a doubt there is a magical connection in that first cup of coffee in the morning, just after having the virtue of waking up and enjoying a beautiful sunrise, it is there where its freshly brewed aroma activates every part of our body and motivates us to start our scheduled activities.

Coffee is not just another beverage of the great variety that we know, it is my silent companion, where in the midst of its tasting I reflect and get inspired to be able to give the best of myself in the working day. When the day has been somewhat exhausting and there is still a lot of activity to do, that's when I need a second dose in the day, just after lunchtime.

I don't know if the same thing happens to you, but in my particular case the afternoon is the strongest day, that's why I gave myself my own gift of self-love, it's like a small pause or bridge I make between the obligations I must fulfill and the renewal of my energies to return with all the necessary strength and culminate in a healthy way.

And we cannot leave aside the potentialities that characterize it, it is a delicious antioxidant that when taken in a balanced way provides us with well-being by boosting our performance and allowing us to be more efficient in what we do.

Now answering the weekly proposals of the @cinnccf community that refers to whether I consider myself a person addicted to coffee or occasional drinker? I would say that I am at a point of balance and nothing in excess is good because it ends up hurting you, so I do not depend totally on a cup of coffee to meet my daily activities, although I can not lie to you that it makes my days easier and happier.

There are people that by not consuming coffee during the day they get sick and even develop headaches, I feel that this is an addiction, but I am not going to lie to you by saying that I drink it sporadically. I enjoy its flavor in a conscious way in my palate and accompany it with as many options as possible.

It is precisely in this way that coffee is part of my daily life as a dose that embraces me warmly and comforts me, gives me energy and makes me feel better with myself, with my ideas and thoughts, coffee is not a dose of addiction, nor an absolute necessity, it just allows me to have a different and special day.

And you, my dear reader friends, have you already consumed your daily dose of coffee? What type of consumer do you consider yourself? We encourage you to participate in the proposal or to answer these questions in the comments section.

I identify with what you share with us; coffee shouldn't be a necessity, but rather a pleasure every time we take a sip. I'm so glad that coffee is a joy in your life.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.☕

Excellent Monday.

Since I retired I started getting up later, maybe that's why I lost the habit of drinking coffee in the morning. I like to have coffee in the middle of the afternoon, it's a way of keeping track of my days. Thanks for sharing my dear @sidalim88 . A big hug from Maracay.
