Hi guys, I am excited and pleased to be here.
My name is Tobechi Anthony Uzomaka also known as CtS. I am from Imo state, in the eastern part of Nigeria. I am the third child of five siblings and a family of seven.
I was born in Lagos.
I attended primary and secondary school in Lagos. I studied philosophy at the University of Ibadan (UI) and the Don Bosco Institute of Philosophy (DBIP) in 2014 and 2018, respectively.
I am presently a student of Data Analysis at ALX, an affiliate of African Leadership University (ALU) and Africa Leadership International (ALI).
As a passionate creative writer, I have worked with Teres Ani and Pen News Agency (www.penagencynews.com), where I updated websites with eclectic, classical, historical, and trend-based articles on fashion and also with the latest, current, and verifiable news articles.
I am an author and publisher at Amazon where I made my maiden self-publication of two books of mine: “Voyage of Self-discovery” and “The New World”

I love writing, singing, playing games, and tech so much. And not to forget, I enjoy having quiet time in mindful meditation.
Now, let’s talk about writing. Writing for me is more than just penning things down or showing talent or creativity. It is a medium of influencing, sensitizing, and imparting on the world around me.
For me, it could be a strong cause for reorientation, revolution, empowerment, etc. Writing exposes thoughts and ideas, makes them public, preserves them, and makes them available to generations.
It is a vehicle that carries the inertia of change, the impulse to greatness. Writing exposes falsehood in its accuracy in research and the power of proof preservation.
Together with all these positive dimensions of writing are the negative dimensions of writing. Writing tells stories that create moods and feelings.
A powerful write-up can place its reader within the scene of its story or narration; it's all about style! It is the style that engages. But a write-up can be malicious, destructive, and deforming.
It all depends on the hand holding the pen; thus, the saying: “The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword”. Writing could also be a vehicle for falsehood, in the same vein as it exposes it.
It deforms people, just as it informs them. It generates anger, fear, and sadness, just as it generates calmness, boldness, and happiness.
The pen could be likened to a sword. It could either be used to protect, develop or can be used for destruction. It all depends on who is having it.
A sword in the hand of an insane man is harmful. But when placed in the hands of a sane man it becomes protective, breeds order, and develops.
But what would writing be, if it does not get to the reach of people? As a source of income, what would have been the fate of writers, if it does not get to the hands of people? How would they be formed if they do not know? How would they know if they have not been informed?
And how would they be informed if they have not read? How would they read if they have not seen?
From my findings, Hive is a platform that showcases talents, inspires creativity, and encourages talent growth. Hive is one of the platforms I had looked forward to being part of, to meet talents like me, learn from them, share knowledge, and grow.
I came to know about Hive from a long-time friend of mine.
Here in Hive, I want to meet people, learn from them, impart through my writings, and grow my talent as a writer and possibly in music. I would also like to tell people about my experience in Hive.
