Every day we make decisions and this activity started form the moment we woke up. Some decisions we took unknowingly also like what we are going to wear today or what time we play etc. Decision making is not easy task and I consider it as one of the hardest activity as the future depends on the decision we took today's. Obviously I am not taking about what we will wear today like decision but their are many other decisions which becomes the turning point for our life. It’s important to fully understand the situation before making a decision. While some decisions are immediate and don’t require much thought, others—especially those that involve financial aspects or will impact our future—are critical and deserve careful consideration. Some decisions do not required much brain storming or we do not need to spend much time on them (like what to wear or what to eat etc) but the other decisions like choosing a carrier path or education or investment can be a life changing. If I have to took decision on something which has the financial aspects then I always took time to understand the present and future effect of my decision on my life. I have one very bad experience in past where I look a bad decision and that was in hurry and to be honest I regret afterwards.

Understand the situation and taking a time for brain storming before taking decision is always a good practice. Let me share some incidents for my life, I got a call from some xyz company and they invited me along with my family for 30 min presentation on their businesses model. Actually they were into the tour and travels and in the presention they shown us their pamplet and booklet. The booklet were containing the list of hotel and properties they were tie-up for providing the service. All over the country and even abroad also they has the tie-up so if we need any hotel stay then we can book though them. Then they offered us a deal which was for 15 years, and we can book 3 night hotel stay every alternate year for some x amount which was payable in advance. The deal was very good but I was hesitant as I never heard of the company name and I was not knowing much of them. They understand my hesitation and to convince me they offered some discount along with some shopping gift cards. Thay also mentioned thatvthe real is applicable till the time I am sitting on the table, that means I have to say deal or no deal. Thay created such atmosphere and pressure on me directly or indirectly that I accepted the deal. After some days when I tried to book one hotel through them they served me well but after the first booking they stopped responding to my mails and when I reached their office, to my surprise it was already closed. The big mistake I done here was that I fall into their trap and not doen any research on them before making the deal. I took a wrong decision of taking the deal and that was also in hurry, so that I should not lose the additional discount they offered but at the end I lost amount bigger then the discount.

It’s important to fully understand the situation before making a decision. While some decisions are immediate and don’t require much thought, others—especially those that involve financial aspects or will impact our future—are critical and deserve careful consideration.

I leared my lesson and aftward always give time before making any financial decisions. It's also good to take advice of experts if we do not know much about the topic. A little knowledge is dengerous thing and in such situations it's not good to take solo decisions. For some decisions which are related to my kids I always consult with my wife even for any time I respect her decisions like choosing a good school around us for kids primary education, if they have to send to any trip or camp etc.
Understand the situation, then analyzing the problem, brain storming and thinking of positive as well as nagative effect of our action is also part of decisions making.
