Happy Caturday π After a few days of high temperature, I'm super thankful for the rain today. I didn't quite expect it, but it was such a welcome surprise. πβ€οΈπ‘
The feeling of welcoming my day off never grows old each week. π I'm still excited. Well, sadly, my assistant sent me a message last night. She's sick so she wouldn't be able to come tomorrow for cleaning Sunday. However, my garden keeper will be able to come. So timely after today's heavy rain. Now I will need to work my way around the advanced purchases that my assistant was supposed to do for me. π Well, some cleaning projects can be postponed.

The quote comes as no surprise from a former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the US. Well, in my case, I've been the decision maker in the household for quite a while now. It could be tiring. π Sometimes I miss my daughter as I bounce ideas with her from time to time. Somehow, the household was more fun when Mom was still around. It was more chaotic in a way, but more fun. Alas, I've been missing Mom more lately. π
Caturday Feature
Last week, I featured Inni. It's time for Miny this week. He's the handsome cat of the bunch and was Mom's favorite. When Miny was a mere kitten, he went missing for a few days. We suspected the neighbor kitten-napped him. We were right though as he showed up a few days later. It was pretty funny when cat momma MingMing was not pleased and scratched him as soon as she saw him. πΉ That felt like scolding to me. Then, he went missing again some time during the plandemic. He got back after and looked too thin. Someone must have locked him up in some stockroom. He stayed outside till he got stronger. Miny had quite a colorful life.
I found one of Mom's last photos with Miny. He has remained a wild cat all his life. I'm so sorry and sad to see him go, but he kept coming to feed here until last year when he seemed too sick. I'm honored he came to say good-bye. πΏ Perhaps Miny is with Mom now. πβ€οΈπ‘
Day off is here. Unfortunately, cleaning will need to be postponed for a few weeks. I will have treatment for the next two Sundays. Oh well... π I will need to make adjustments in some purchases. Let's see what solution I could come up with in the next few days. π€
