Happy FriYAY π Amazing how we're a week into the new month already. In this case, I do not mind time passing by quickly. I'd like the summer months to be over right away. π Time to switch to weekend mode...
Yesterday was my bank run day. I managed to buy two available salad meals at the neighborhood 7-11 convenience store. Upon rechecking the labels, I discovered that both need to be consumed today. I then decided I would have salad for lunch and dinner. π
I forgot to take photo of my lunch as I was pressed for time and hungry too. π It was more simple than the one I chose for dinner. Green vegetables with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I decided to heat my leftover chicken curry so I will have some meat on the side. π For my dinner, I added some frozen dumplings that I steamed. These days I make it a point to have enough protein so I add a little meat. π

Well, I'm definitely waiting for the far, far better things ahead. At this time, it's pretty tough to look ahead. That's just me though. My views and perspectives on life totally changed when Mom passed. Add my mobility issue to that and it's a huge challenge to be optimistic, but I try. Every day I try to see the good in each day, even if some days it's tougher and I have to look harder. One day at a time. I find that helpful. Adding my mini victories each day also helps. Perhaps our mission is to simply grow with all the challenges that come our way. Take things as they come. Throw expectations out the window. My list could go on. π Oh yeah, another one of my late dad's advice: expect the unexpected. π
Seven days gone. 24 to go. π Today I ordered water refill tanks, and thankfully they got delivered in the afternoon. I also had my monthly laundry picked up. The shop said it would be delivered on Monday. Good to see monthly utilities slowly being taken care of. I'm waiting for my electric bill. I pray it would not be much. I imagine next month would be a different matter. π
I'm back to my regular staking day. It's another 100 ALIVE tokens this week. I did stake some earlier in the week to join the alive.chat challenge. My total stakes now come up to 44.6K (plus 24K delegated). I'm aiming for 75K in all for the meantime.
I missed out on sharing my LL coop earnings last week due to my busted monitor then. I was using my work pc that time. Now it's time to make up for what I missed. Some weeks were better than others, although my daily efforts remain almost the same.
I work on these affiliate sites daily. My next goal is to reach $4 on LL. Getting a bit of extra here and there helps.
Well, one more work day is coming. Then, I can enjoy a brief rest from day work. Can't wait to have a bit more relaxation. I also wish for cooler weather despite the season. πππ‘ The drizzles that came in the afternoon today somehow helped a bit. I'm so grateful for it. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
