Super glad for the Lenten holidays. These past two days, the online selling neighbors are closed. Whew! π I got my side of the flat all to myself and the kitties. π That for me brought so much good vibes. π I could leave the main screen door partially open for the majority of the day. It allowed the outdoor kitties to check out the inside of the flat. The indoor kitties were well-behaved that they did not even try to go out at all. π
The curtain rod has been fixed to the back area so I would not have a hard time trying to fix it anymore. I was pretty sore having to climb up to fix it many times. I actually just transferred the curtain rod from the main window area since I don't do curtains anymore. It was too hot in the flat. Having a curtain is not too practical. I mostly leave all the windows open for most of the day. Aside from that, I was able to do a bit of clearing out in the bedroom. It's not a lot and I'd love to do more, but I will have to schedule all tasks for every day instead. That way I get to balance rest and relaxation with home maintenance and upgrade daily. Little by little.. they will eventually add up. π
I'm short by two electric fans at the moment. The cheap one got busted and the building guard who moonlights as maintenance guy said it's one of those that are disposable. Sadly I will definitely need to replace it. I gave it to him to salvage whatever parts he can since it would not be of any use to me anymore. π The other one needs a change of capacitor. It would be fixed perhaps next week since the part/s will need to be purchased. I swear it's too costly to be alive these days. π Too many expenses indeed.
The neighbor actually showed up in the afternoon and did some sort of work. Too bad for her since most of her staff walked out last week (I heard they were complaining of being treated as machines -- not even paid minimum wage and not allowed to eat on time). Good thing she did not stay too long and the kitties and I still enjoyed our bonding moments. I tried walking the perimeter of my flat as exercise this afternoon. I think I will find ways to do that daily. Sadly, it's back to work tomorrow for the neighbors. I will miss my peace and quiet. πβ€οΈπ‘

I find this to be true. It's not easy to find good staff these days, so when you get good ones, you make sure you pay them and treat them well. π It is, however, true that excellence is a commitment one makes on a daily basis. It is in everything that we do. It's not about being paid or the like. I see really good workers and so-so ones in places where I do purchases. It is definitely a habit as there are some who mostly do work for the sake of it. It is what it is.
Oh boy, it's the last two days of my vacation. I hope to work on my postcards this time. It's the only task left on my to do list for now. π I think I will get the addresses tonight and then set aside two days to pick the postcards from my stash and to write on them. π€
It was pretty slow in terms of promotion from last week. There really are weeks when it was more profitable. Anyway, I crossed into $9 on LL. I'm near the cash out limit and can't wait till I get there.
It's staking ALIVE day for me too. I added another 100 ALIVE this week. That brings my stake to 45.2K (plus 24K delegated). My target for now is to reach 75K ALIVE in total. This does not include the ones I have on my ALIVE:ALIVEM diesel pool.
