Happy #thankfulThursday π we're another day closer to the weekend π I am super glad πβ€οΈπ‘ Today comes with a reminder for myself not to sweat the small stuff, not to fuss over things beyond my control. I'm just an NPC so I'll just take things as they come. π I'll react when I need to, otherwise, MEH π
I enjoy in between days (and weeks) when not much is happening. It's the time when most of the monthly dues (and bills) have been paid. Fun times indeed. π I do miss my daughter at times. We get to discuss a lot of stuff together and somehow makes life more tolerable.
So I look back at one of our last bonding moments before she flew to Barcelona over a year ago. I think I need a gelato just about now too. π Caramia is one of our fave places to hang out at the neighborhood mall back in the days. Last I checked, they're still open. I haven't gone back yet. Perhaps next time I will visit again.

How inspiring coming from Helen Keller. So, now I wonder, given my challenge, how do I make my life more like a daring adventure? π I honestly have no answer at this time. What I do know is that after waiting for so long, I'm thankful I learned about the acupuncture package that I could sign up at Wellness Sanctuary. That's also an orthodontics clinic where I went at the start of the year for my toothache. It's more like a wellness clinic. I had my first session last Sunday, and I will admit it has helped me a lot already. I still need my cane -- don't think I will get cured overnight π -- but I do believe in the potential. I've experienced less pain since the first treatment. I will be back in two weeks for follow up treatment. I have already earmarked my schedule for the five-session treatment. πβ€οΈπ‘ I now wish I thought of this sooner. π€£ I guess you could say I was somehow wallowing in grief these past years. Perhaps now I'm trying to get out of that state of mind.
Eight days to go... amazing how short February is. π€£ Two more work days to go.. can't wait for my brief day off to come again. π I'm glad there's something that I look forward to each week. π
