Hello friends, this is the holiday season in my country. Today is the first day of the first holiday for government agencies and tomorrow will be the holiday for private sectors, which is about 4 days of celebrating Songkran Festival and tourists from various countries will come to join the fun.
Songkran Festival is a culture that helps to relieve the heat in the summer because in my country it is the summer season. We have the tradition of playing with water and powder, which makes it fun and also reflects the gratitude of the elderly in the family, so we will pour water to ask for blessings during this time. Songkran Festival is also considered the New Year of Thailand.

This year, my family will make merit together by opening a shop at Wat Khanon and we will make food and desserts to sell to the people who come to the event. The temple will organize an exchange of coins made from baked clay and bring those coins to buy food from the shop. All the money will be donated to the temple.
The temple will organize a light and sound show that is Thai culture, such as shadow puppetry and Khon. This year, there will be shadow puppetry from other countries joining the performance. I will tell you the story of the beauty of Songkran Festival in the city where I live. The temple will hold a total of 3 days of events, from the 13th to the 15th of this month onwards.
