I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
For those of you that are investors and holders of Eco-Alex's INCOME token (as I am), you may have noticed that he's shifting things around a bit, to be able to play the Hive Game at another level, and in another way, and to do that he's winding down the INCOME Synergy Fund. While I am quite sad to see this exceptional project come to a close, as it was one of the best token projects on the Blockchain, I do have absolutely faith and trust in Alex, his numerous projects, and his passionate vision and mission, and I'll continue to support him and his endeavors as much as I'm able.
With the daily dividends and curation posts ending ten days ago (though the post curation for token-holders is still presently in place), which curiously I just noticed (I'm a buzzy Hive bee, what can I say?), I'm now in the process of deciding how best to reallocate my INCOME investment. There is a SWAP.HIVE:INCOME pool that allows swappping to SWAP.HIVE, however the pool is now quite small, so if I were to swap my 22.628 INCOME all at once, there would be a price impact of over 28%, which is crazy. Alex suggested to swap 1-2 at a time, or to place them on the market for 12.3 or thereabouts. He'll be buying them on the market and swapping to them in the pool I believe, so I'll hopefully be able to recoup my investment over the next few weeks, a bit at a time.
Alex's INCOME curation service is still very useful to be sure, though I always have good places to reinvest reallocated assets, so this morning I swapped the first of my 22 tokens to 12.283 SWAP.HIVE, and then I swapped that for 6.623 BXT, which is my second best-performing income token, after INCOME, giving me a new total of 837.06 BXT. With my previous 830 or so BXT, I've usually been receiving between 0.4xx and 0.6xx HIVE every day. Since the HIVE comes from BeeSwap fees, the amount varies over time, sometimes going higher or lower, but always generally in the same range. I'll just say that it really does adds up over time. Since I originally bought my INCOME at 12 SWAP.HIVE each, I'll do my best to not let any go for less than that price. Even if I do end up having to do that, however, the cumulative amount of daily HIVE and curation rewards from upvotes do make up for it quite a bit, so even that 'loss' wouldn't actually end up being much if any of an actual loss.
Other tokens on my list to acquire with the SWAP.HIVE from my divested INCOME, include BXT (of course), ARMERO (another great token from Alex, that is directly linked to dCity assets), DUO, as well as more ALIVEM (I gotta boost my stake in our own token!), BBH, BBHM, BBHO, SBT and also more assets to add to various excellent diesel/liquidity pools. Whenever there is a major shift and a corresponding reallocation of assets, it gives me the opportunity to make strong growth in other areas, which is always quite exciting.
Investing, leveraging, and growing layer-2 assets on Hive requires periodic reassessments, adjustments, and sometimes reallocations, but it's all a part of the Hive Game, which I very much enjoy playing. Treatng investing as if it were a game tends to make it much more fun, and far less stressful. That's one big lesson that I learned from Alex: It's all a game, so have fun in the process!
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finshing up my Hive tasks, first diving into some photography for these posts and for my entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest. Once I was satisfied with the shots that I had taken, I went to Tutu's to make Iolanthe some food, at her request. That took a bit longer than expected, after which I went to help Ano unload his truck after his Friday coconut-collecting trip, and then to reload it for the Sunday market the next day. When we had that completed, I went to strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing. While I had intended to help Ano put up more split bamboo sections for the inner wall of his studio, that didn't end up happening, mostly due to miscommunication. I finally just got my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and made my way back to the Flow House, to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Since I didn't sleep as well the night before, I was quite sleepy even at the beginning of the evening, so I got through as much as I was able, before finally stopping to write and publish My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 214 - Jamaican Lirikoi Reflections around 10:30PM, and then going strait to bed. I woke up at 6AM, having slept pretty well, doing more asset management, catching up more on my notifications, and then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 2PM, so a wonderful time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on more photography for these posts, and then community/land work. My dear friend Lea will probably also be coming over so that I can show her the process of straining kefir. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update tomorrow morning, and the next version of this post later in the afternoon! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
