I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Happy 4th Birthday, We Are Alive Tribe!
Today, April 16th, is the 4-year anniversary of our beloved We Are Alive Tribe, and to celebrate it we're holding a contest, 4-Year Anniversary For The We Are Alive Tribe - Plus Anniversary Contest With Nice Prizes, where all participants will receive 1 HIVE each, and 3 randomly selected Alivers will receive 5 HIVE each. So go check out the post, write your entry post sharing with us your favorite memories from the Alive tribe, and then drop the link to your entry post in the comments of the anniversary post. Although it wasn't mentioned in the anniversary-contest post, We've also got about 1,600 ALIVE tokens to distribute amount all participants and winners, to make the prizes a little juicier. Thank you so very much, Rosyel (@iamraincrystal), for putting the anniversary-contest post together, and getting it published on time, it's so deeply appreciated!
I've been talking a lot lately about my ever-growing excitement for the rapidly-developing cross-blockchain interconnection and interoperability that is unfolding and spreading rapidly in the Cryptosphere, as well as about my recent extremely positive exploration and dive into the Blurt blockchain ecosystem, and I gotta say, this excitement is going to white-hot levels. The concept of a cross-/multi-chain community, that I've written about in my posts several times before, is being fleshed out before my increasingly-widening eyes.
As most of you know, I was already present and active in muttiple sovereignty and community-driven blockchain ecosystems (Hive of course, Bastyon, Qortal, and to a lesser degree DeSo) before my recent exceedingly successful excursion into Blurt. My experiences on Blurt have been overwhelming good, with me being extremely well received and supported by the community, and from my conversations, both on Blurt and here on Hive, with @offgridlife (who has been very kind and helpful) and a few others, I came to realize that there are hundreds of present and former Hivers and Steemians active on Blurt, and that a good number of them publish posts regularly on all three blockchains. That intrigued me immensely. So last night and this morning, I fleshed out my profile (my unused exploration account) on Steem, and I began looking for other Hivers there that I know. @offgridlife had already followed me there even before I started, which was a nice surprise.
Previously, I had a pretty negative perspective on Steem, so the fact that so many people are acively publishing posts on Hive, Blurt, and Steem concurrently, really surprised me. I learned that it's fine to share our Hive posts in their entirety on both Blurt and Steem, and to be well supported in doing so (the reverse does not work, of course, Blurt/Steem to Hive). So I'll be working to get my Steem account to a functional and useful place, and then I plan to publish my posts as usual here on Hive, then republish them in their entirety (with the original Hive source) on both Blurt and Steem, as well as sharing the titles and links with the cover photo on Bastyon and X. That flow could work well I think, and I'm really looking forward to bringing it fully online.
The last of my INCOME sold on the market yesterday, in a few batches, which gave me quite a good amount of SWAP.HIVE liquidity to reinvest. I ended up acquiring 184.275 ARMERO, 7 BBHM, 58.458 BXT, 57 DUO, and 1,073,228.8823 SBT, which gave me new total of 37 BBHM, 915.862 BXT, 200.5947 DUO, and 1,325,462.5783 SBT. This was my first time buying ARMERO (which is another excellent token by the ever-amazing Eco-Alex), so the above number is also my present total for that token. Now that I'm past 200 DUO, I'm now eligible for the daily HIVE payouts, of which I've already received one (0.08 HIVE). I got another nice boost to my daily HIVE payouts for BXT too (this morning being 0.622 HIVE). Now I've just got to wait another month and a half for the XV investment project to come to completion before I'll likely have another large amount of SWAP.HIVE to invest. Yep, asset-leveraging and management is fun as fuck!
Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little on the late side, around 2:45PM, putting my attention on more photography for these posts. Once I had a nice batch of shots, I worked with Eden to load the truck with older shaker coconuts, and then to unload them onto the coconut-sprouting beds (coconut sprouts are a staple here). When we had that done, I went to Tutu's to do the dry-goods order, and then back to the Flow House for a quick asset-management break. After my mini-break, I spent some time working in my recently reclaimed nursery behind the Landing, repotting and up-potting various plants in need. Although this nursery is almost full, most of the plants in it are now looking much happier, which is deeply satisfying for me. Little by little, step by step, I'm recreating a beautiful and functional place to propagate and grow a crazy diversity of amazing plants once again. After working in my nursery, I cleaned up, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, then I made my way back to the Flow House, to hop into my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by around 11PM, and after some asset management, responding to notifications on Blurt, and setting up Trust Wallet so that I could vote for Hive projects on TheDappList.com, I went to ned a little after 12:30AM. I woke up at 4:30AM, and due to feeling so much excitement about my cross-blockchain adventures, I wasn't able to get back to sleep, so I just started on some asset management, updating my profile on Steem, beginning on this post, and then getting out of bed around 7:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 11:30AM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before I prepare for a session at 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
