I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Much to my intense chagrin, I noticed yesterday that the daily ALIVE-dividend payouts (for held and/or staked ALIVE) were not working, and after a closer look, I realized to my utter horror that the last time that they ran successfully was on April 12th, so 8 days ago. Ugh. This doesn't come at a great time, because our backend wizard, Bjorn (@borniet), has mostly been offline for the past two weeks due to some very challenging times in his own life. I'll just say that when Bjorn returns, we'll make sure to do a large make-up payment, to bring everything up to date once again.
Given that every project on Hive, ours included, is run by our amazing community of people, things sometimes break or go awry. We all just do our best to address issues as we're able, with the time and resources that we have available. It may not be perfect, but it does work well most of the time. In any case, we'll get the daily ALIVE dividends going out again as soon as we're able.
I've mentioned many times that I'm kind of like a bridge, or interconnection (nexus) point between various diverse and different worlds, domains, and communities, and this holds true for blockchain communities and ecosystems as well, with me having accounts, and being active, across multiple (mostly sovereignty-driven) blockchain ecosystems. Since I get the inside scoop in each one over time, I come to understand them from the inside out, as I connect with people in their respective communities. It also offers me a unique perspective on the contrasts, challenges, successes, and potential of each chain.
This idea that I have for a cross-/multi-blockchain community directly arises from both my bridge-like nature, and from the wonderful communities of people that I've come to know across several blockchain ecosystems. The thing is, many of these blockchain communities are not overly friendly with each, and it's unfortunately sometimes quite the opposite. I just treat people with kindness and respect, and I do my best to listen to and understand their perspectives, whether I agree with them or not, and to assist and help those with whom I connect, interact, and build friendships. Yes, there are certain things on every blockchain that annoy, frustrate, and disturb me, but I choose to focus on what is beautiful and good about them, and on the good that I can bring to them.
Hive captured my heart long ago, and I've called it my home pretty much from my start on this exceptional Blockchain, as it 'clicked' for me in a way I had not experienced before. It was like a key to my lock. Having said that, however, I've also really come to appreciate these other iterations of community-driven blockchain technology, and the communities that drive them. They're all amazing in their own unique way, which I love, and it's part of why I want to do my best to help bring them together in good will, friendship, and cooperation; in blockchain brotherhood. I'm running into more people that I know on one blockchain, on others where I'm active and exploring, Hive (of course), Blurt (I'm new here, but I'm loving it), Qortal (a whole different can of blockchain worms), Bastyon (where I began, before Hive), Deso (I'm not very active on DeSo at the moment) and now also Steem (the progenitor blockchain, where I'm just beginning to bootstrap), which has become one of my favorite things about my intrepid blockchain explorations, finding familiar and friendly faces (or icons, as the case may be), on every blockchain that I go. Cross-blockchain Synergy is the idea and the goal for which I'm working, everywhere that I am!
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, and I must say that the rest of my day flowed in quite an easeful, enjoyable, and productive way, with me weaving between photography, working in my nurseries and with my plants, and sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn, with a good feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction at the end of the day. I finally refocused just before sunset, taking a shower, making myself some food (spiced and seasoned mini beef patties, with pepperjack cheese, and mixed mustards), and then with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I headed back to the Flow House to dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had a fair amount, so I wasn't able to finish before I had to stop just before 10:45PM to write and publish My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 215 - Shrimp Plant Reflections, do some asset management, respond to my notification on Blurt, and finally go to bed just after 12AM. I woke up around 6AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, starting on this post, and then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:45PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
