Greetings fellow travelers of the world! Today I am pleased to share with you our vacation trip to Maturin Monagas state of Venezuela. Join me and I show you a little bit about our trip.
I have told you all that my son Angel Alfredo was born 3 months ago and spent difficult days in the intensive care unit of the hospital. Thank God he overcame all the difficulties and recovered his health. In his last visit to the pediatrician, he recommended us to take him to the sea and use it as therapy.
During the Easter vacations my sister invited me to spend a few days at her house so we could go to the beach with the children. We traveled from Táchira State to Monagas by plane. It was Angel Alfredo's first trip.
We left from the Santo Domingo airport. My mother accompanied me since my husband could not travel. It was a smooth flight with no setbacks.
My mom and I took turns so we could take care of the children and not end up tired. What I liked was that the airline allowed us to keep the baby in the car until the last moment we were on the ground in Táchira and when we landed in Monagas the first thing they gave us was the stroller so that the baby would be comfortable all the time.
We traveled with little luggage, the minimum necessary for the children and ourselves, so we would not have any problems at the airports. This trip by land has a duration of 30 hours since practically the states are from one end of the country to the other. While by plane it was fast and comfortable.
Once we boarded the plane my companion was Maria Teresa, my 4 1/2 year old daughter who was in charge of keeping me entertained the whole trip playing with the clouds we saw out the window, eating cookies, singing and asking me how much time was left to see her aunt.
It was a very peaceful trip. The kids were on their best behavior. In 1 hour and 40 minutes we were getting to know Maturin and arriving at my sister's house.
I am glad that my baby has the opportunity to be with his aunt who was with him in the most difficult moments in the hospital, but could not wait to be discharged for work reasons.
I remember she told me that she was coming to Maturin with a crumpled heart for not being able to hold the baby in her arms, but that as soon as the opportunity arose she would receive us at her house to spend some time together.
The Táchira-Monagas flights are on Wednesdays. Here we are enjoying this beautiful city, seeing incredible places and having a great time.
I hope to continue telling you much more about this trip, which besides being a vacation, I have set the goal of making it educational for my daughter since the tour includes museums, parks and educational activities where she will learn important things for her development.

De paseo con mis niños. El primer viaje en avión de mi bebé
¡Saludos amigos viajeros del mundo! Hoy me complace compartir con ustedes nuestro paseo de vacaciones a Maturín estado Monagas de Venezuela. Acompáñenme y les muestro un poco sobre nuestro viaje.
Les he contado a todos que mi hijo Ángel Alfredo nació hace 3 meses y pasó días difíciles en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital. Gracias a Dios superó todas las dificultades y recuperó su salud. En su última visita al pediatra, nos recomendó llevarlo al mar y que le sirva de terapia.
En las vacaciones de semana Santa mi hermana me invitó a pasar unos días en su casa y así poder ir a la playa con los niños. Viajamos desde el Estado Táchira hasta Monagas en avión. Fue el primer viaje de Ángel Alfredo.
Salimos desde el aeropuerto de Santo Domingo. Mi mamá me acompañó ya que mi esposo no puedo viajar. Fue un vuelo tranquilo y sin contratiempos.
Mi mamá y yo nos turnamos para poder atender a los niños y no terminar cansadas. Lo que me gustó fue que en la aerolínea nos permitieron tener al bebé en el coche hasta el último momento de estar en tierra en Táchira y al aterrizar en Monagas lo primero que nos entregaron fue el choche para que el bebé estuviese cómodo todo el tiempo.
Viajamos con poco equipaje, lo mínimo indispensable para los niños y nosotras, así no tendríamos problemas en los aeropuertos. Este viaje por tierra tiene una duración de 30 horas ya que prácticamente los estados son de extremo a extremo del país. Mientras que en avión fue rápido y cómodo.
Una vez que abordamos el avión mi compañera fue María Teresa, mi hija de 4 años y medio que se encargó de mantenerme entretenida todo el viaje jugando con las nubes que veíamos por la ventanilla, comiendo galletas, cantando y preguntándome cuánto faltaba para llegar a ver a su tía.
Fue un viaje muy tranquilo. Los niños se portaron de lo mejor. En 1 hora y 40 minutos ya estabamos conociendo Maturín y llegando a la casa de mi hermana.
Me alegra que mi bebé tenga la oportunidad de estar con su tía que estuvo con él en los momentos más difíciles en el hospital, pero que no pudo esperar a que le dieran el alta por razones de trabajo.
Recuerdo que me dijo que se venía a Maturín con el corazón arrugado por no poder sostener al bebé en sus brazos, pero que nada más se diera la oportunidad nos recibiría en su casa para pasar un tiempo juntos.
Justamente los vuelos Táchira -Monagas son los días miércoles. Aquí estamos disfrutando de esta bonita ciudad, conociendo lugares increíbles y pasándola muy bien.
Espero seguir contándoles mucho más sobre este paseo, que además de ser vacaciones, me he puesto la meta de hacerlo educativo para mi hija ya que el recorrido incluye museos, parques y actividades educativas donde va aprendiendo cosas importantes para su desarrollo.
