As every Wednesday, I join this beautiful #wednesdaywalk community to share with you my tour, thanks to the initiative of our friend @tattoodjay, who, as I mentioned before, allows us to see various places through this creative initiative.
My day started with a walk to the hotel for a bit of a formal meeting we would have between the company and the hotel, as they had changed the maintenance manager. My husband would be driving just me, as our son left earlier to enroll in a course. Since I did not have to drive, he was able to show them how the day is and the landscapes that this beautiful island gives us every day surprises us with something beautiful and new.
Como cada miércoles, me uno a esta hermosa comunidad de #wednesdaywalk para compartir con ustedes mi recorrido, gracias a la iniciativa de nuestro amigo @tattoodjay, quién, como he mencionado antes, nos permite ver diversos lugares a través de esta creativa iniciativa.
Mi día comenzó con un camino hacia el hotel para una reunión un poco formal que tendríamos entre la compañía y el hotel, ya que habían cambiado al gerente de mantenimiento. Mi esposo me llevaría sólo a mí, ya que nuestro hijo salió más temprano para inscribirse en un curso. Como yo no tenía que ir manejando, pudo mostrarles cómo está el día y los paisajes que nos regala esta bella isla que todos los días nos sorprende, con algo bello y nuevo.
Upon arrival, everything went very smoothly. It turned out that the new maintenance manager I will be dealing with will be a woman, and at this first meeting everything was excellent. I felt very comfortable and optimistic about our future collaboration.
By the time the meeting was over, it was already lunchtime and I had not brought anything with me because I thought I would be going home early. My husband, when he picked me up, invited me to have a snack at the bakery next door, because we would be delayed when we got home as he had to find a part for the car. I ate a pizza square and a soda, all just to get fat, haha!
Al llegar, todo fluyó muy bien. Resultó que la nueva gerente de mantenimiento con la que trataré será una mujer, y en esta primera reunión todo fue excelente. Me sentí muy cómoda y optimista sobre nuestra futura colaboración.
Al terminar la reunión, ya era la hora del almuerzo y yo no había llevado nada porque pensé que regresaría temprano a casa. Mi esposo, al recogerme, me invitó a merendar en la panadería de sigo, porque nos demoraremos al llegar a casa ya que él tenía que buscar una pieza para el auto. Me comí un cuadrado de pizza y un refresco, todo justo para engordar, ¡jaja!
After lunch, while my husband was driving, I started to enjoy the scenery: the palm trees, the mountains, in short, I fully enjoyed the road.
Después de merendar, mientras mi esposo iba manejando, me puse a disfrutar del paisaje: las palmeras, las montañas, en fin, disfruté plenamente del camino.
Until we arrived at the spare parts store called Autopartes Rois, located on 31 de Julio Avenue, in Antolín del Campo, Nueva Esparta State, Margarita Island, where we bought a gasoline filter. I had not realized that the car needed it, because when I go out with the car, he is the one who checks it for me and leaves it ready for me to start and go out. That's why I don't notice some things. What I do notice is that when something is needed for the car, he always comes to this place. My husband says the parts for our car at this store are quality. He shops at other stores only when this one doesn't have what he's looking for.
Hasta que llegamos a la venta de repuestos llamado Autopartes Rois, ubicado en la avenida 31 de Julio, en Antolín del Campo, Estado Nueva Esparta, Isla Margarita, donde compramos un filtro de gasolina. Yo no me había percatado de que el auto lo necesitaba, porque cuando voy a salir con el auto, él es quien me lo revisa y lo deja listo solo para que yo prenda y salga. Por eso no me doy cuenta de algunas cosas. Lo que sí noto es que cuando hace falta algo para el auto, él siempre viene a este lugar. Mi esposo dice que los repuestos para nuestro auto en esta tienda son de calidad. Compra en otras tiendas solo cuando en esta no hay lo que busca.
When we finished, we left for the house, always going through the tunnel of trees that I like so much, until we reached our home.
Al terminar, salimos para la casa, siempre pasando por el túnel de árboles que tanto me gusta, hasta llegar a nuestro hogar.
