It seems as if every time I need to get into an account, it will tell me that I have the incorrect password. I have my passwords written down in an old Rolodex. After writing it I make sure it is correct by logging in and it lets me. If I go to that site to do something unimportant, it will let me but if I want to change something or do important things, nope, I get the incorrect password. They send it to my email and I try to use it and I get incorrect user name, by this point I am pissed and my husband takes over or when it is too late for what I needed, it will let me in with no problems using the same password as I typed, to begin with.
I need to pay for our nursery license and at the price of stamps, I did not want to use one to mail it, so I tried to log in to the account. Over and over I get incorrect password. I had to have my husband print out the form so I could put the check in the mail, I had to use a stamp, an envelope, and a check because I was locked out of my account. If you think I have ranted on about it, you should hear what goes on when it happens to him.....
Yesterday my sister was visiting and my daughter was giving me a hard time, so she kidnapped me. First, we drove down toward river road, I asked where we were going and she said. THIS. She knew that by her driving by it would be enough to calm my nerves. And it did, but it also made me wish I was out on it.
We saw a yard sale sign and that put us in the yard sale mode, I was surprised at the prices people were asking, it was like the old days. All of the sales we stopped at had fair prices, I would say more than fairly priced. I got a huge bug light and four flea traps for 2 dollars, not each, it was for all of them. The flea traps have a sticky pad on the bottom and a small light bulb that hangs over it. The bulb in one of them lasted for about 30 minutes. It looks like the bulb for it is like the ones you would use in a night light. I gave the bug light and 2 of the flea trap lights to my sister and she told me she put 2 sided tape in the one that the sticky pad was missing and she could see fleas stuck to it. She has a dog and 4 cats.
The sticky pads were in 3 of them and had small black things stuck to them so I can not tell yet if they worked. Also about 2 weeks ago we treated the dogs, their bedding, and the yard. The dogs have not been acting like they have fleas but with the weather warming up, I am sure they will get them again.
It is crazy that for something like a flea you have to pay a vet so you can get a prescription to buy it from a pharmacy. When we had our other dogs we could go to a shelter and buy a 3 month pill that worked, but someone wanted it changed to where you have to have a prescription to buy it. So if you are poor, you do all you know to do.
I paid a dollar for this metal plate the man told me it is of Nefertiti, it is heavy for its size, and the best I could find is others like the picture sells for 20 dollars but the only one of an Egyptian Queen made with a design like this frame sells on E-Bay for 120.00. I could not find one that everything matched like this one.
The back side has felt glued to it so I do not know if there is any writing under it. The back has a nice patina. The man said it cleans up nice so I am afraid he has cleaned the front of it which you should never do but, oh well, I do not plan on selling it, just repeating what I have heard.
I have been collecting things that no one else wanted for 35 years or more.
