Our SS check gets to our bank on the first of every month. My husband just checked to see if it cleared and it says pending. I wonder if it is something new the new adminastration is putting in place.
Last month I received a letter saying my husband and I qualified for a type of Medicaid that helps people pay for their prescriptions and Dr visits, if you can find a Dr that excepts it. Last week I get a letter saying I need to re-apply but I had to have the application back to them by Monday, they gave me 5 days to get it back to them. The postal service does not move that fast so I had to go to my daughter's house so she could do it on the computer for me. I know I am old school and the new adminastration should know we are still here and do not all have computer knowledge.
I also wonder if there will be a need for polling places in the future, and are we going to get used to the saying "That building is just another closed polling station, even if some were schools."
My husband has been catching a few pompano, he had 32 pounds yesterday and 23 today. Today he caught them near the clamming pole at Long Point, he had 6 there. He went to Pepper Cove, he saw two but did not catch any. He went back to Long Point and caught 6 more.
