To me this film seemed like a cash handout to Martin Lawrence, who time has not been very kind to as far as his physical state or his career is concerned. Apparently he lost a bunch of weight for this role and that just makes me wonder how fat and out of shape the guy must have gotten because he was pretty darn fat for this one even after the weight loss.
No idea how much that actor weighed, from the previous film it is seen that it has been in a deplorable physical condition for a long time, perhaps that is why his character had a turn with respect to that issue and the need to improve his physical condition for health issues, it was anyway, the character grabs this change well and I incorporate it in good form both at the level of characterization and comic.
