Six Triple Eight

Today I would like to talk to you about the movie Six Triple Eight which I think is one of the movies that anyone interested in history and wars should watch As I mentioned before I really love movies that shed light on neglected true stories and this is exactly what this movie does.

The story revolves around the Central Postal Directory Battalion which was the first American battalion composed entirely of black women to participate in World War II Many of us may not know about this battalion but their role was very good and influential in reorganizing the soldiers mail which was very vital during the war.

This battalion was dealing with millions of lost letters and the soldiers depended on this mail to feel that they were still connected to their families The mission was not easy at all because the conditions were difficult and racial discrimination was widespread but they worked with courage and determination to succeed in their mission The film focuses on the challenges they faced whether in terms of work or the discrimination they were exposed to even while trying to serve their country.

Regarding the directing and acting I think the film was able to realistically reflect the atmosphere of war and the actors performed their roles very well The scenes that illustrated determination and suffering were strong and touching and I felt that the film was not only about war but also about inner strength and challenge.

As I mentioned I love films that present unknown but inspiring stories and Six Triple Eight achieves this wonderfully If you like films that have history drama and a strong message I advise you to watch it because it is worth every minute of your time.
