I think everyone thought that the economy would boom after Trump got into office, but there hasn't been anything too great to prop up the DXY. I think the tariffs also hurt the DXY, but the trade war could also be a factor.
Trumps treasury sec basically said for word they are going to allow markets to come down to fix the fraudulent economy. We shall see if Trump flinches.
DXY crash! The honeymoon is over for the USD. It didn't make the CAD perform any better being dragged down with it. The Trade war is effecting one of my relative's work place that depends on imports from the US.
I sure hope a deal can be reached soon.
