It was a long time though, because this days i hardly go to a barber's shop, I enjoyed home service more, because the barber will not be on a haste, but will give me quality service.
So, when did this conversation that I can't forget took place, it was still in a saloon, that day many people were at the shop, I was the second to the last person to get his service, honestly, I was tired of sitting for about two hours and be waiting for my turned.
And when it gets to mine, it was almost 8:45PM, he assured me that he was going to drop me at my resident, so I shouldn't bother about how I was going to walk home.
If it's a movie, once I heard that it has hit so much in the vox office, i am going to find a way and watch it, but if it does not, I wouldn't want to waste my time at all, unless, someone gave an enticing review, and I will want to.
But you see football!, I took it like a total waste of time, to sit down and watch, although, there were times, i used to watched my club matches frequently, but as time's goes on, I stop and be selected.
So, as the three of us were in the saloon, the other guy was looking at his phone, so he spot out something which inturn brought an argument about Manchester united and Chelsea. Believe me, I am one of those people back then that once you mentioned "Man U", I will tell you that they are good than any other club in the world.
The guy was a Chelsea fan, and he too was attacking me that it is Chelsea that is the best, from that very moment I felt the barber should just conclude the service he was giving me so that I can get up, talk and be demonstrating to the guy why he should understand that "Man U" was the best club.
Finally, he gave me that superb barbing, and I was now free to do the demonstrating as I talk, but then, the barber itself was a Liverpool fan.
I almost thought i was winning in the argument, not knowing all those while we were talking, the barber was just looking at us and be laughing, because he believed nothing that we said. To him, his club Liverpool was the best club.
The deal is, none of us want to know that it's just a football club and a player can be transfer at anytime to another club, we thought the club owns them for life.
Because, right now, those player I used to brag about in Man U. have been transfer to another club, and in the future, the club might bring them back, and so will the deal be carried out, I think every team can perform, depending on the player's as at that time.
And this is why i don't argue about football anymore, so remembering the event at the barbing saloon today, I do nothing but to laugh, in realizing how serious one can get inside there, talking and gisting to prove points.
