l saw the chat coming through with a congratulatory icon, I was curious to know the award my friend must have received that afternoon, and then i saw his writing, but i did not believed he meant what he said, I expected it might be because, he wanted me to assist him in his project, or maybe, he wanted to be that first person to put a smile on my face, as we sometimes discuss how amazing that can be.
But all of those wasn't his reasons, he does meant what he said, and according to him, he was just wanting to confirm it from me, "do you know that kind of moment you might have wanted something so bad, and someone told you about it, just as you always wish? yet, deep down inside of you, you know that it wasn't true.
That was exactly how I felt as my friend just wanted to confirm the information he heard from me.
After a while, I realized that it would not have make any sense if he does not know the truth, so I let him have it, even while I might have really wanted a thing like he said.
The deal is, i was not in the number 1 spot in the global music platforms as they told him, l have not even gotten my sounds on the Nigeria chart before, going far to global chart, where did I took that kind of funds to make an internal collaboration.
l was still understanding where the rumors came from, and that is from my other friend, who is strongly believing in me, that I will get to that spot in the industry.
But to be frank, I tends to get scared of the movement, not because I can't do it, but because I have realized those few things I needed have not yet fall in places.
l also understand that, everything must not be there before we push out, and want what we know we desire.
Talking more about this, i am aware that, we can not run away from what we were designed for, so you start at that point, or you let it keep delaying as you want.
