What are you looking forward to (or not looking forward to) this year? It had been 5 years since Alina and Asif involved in love with each other. Being University Students, they studied as well as made many good memories in each corner of their institute. After graduation, Alina moved to Ireland for higher education and Asif qualified for a private job on a Shopping Mall. His work was tiresome and his life became very busy. Although Asif was poor man but he was hardworking. Everytime, when his eyes sought any couple he opened his wallet in which he placed flower that Alina granted him at proposing time. Sometimes, there was laughter and sometimes unstoppable tears from his eyes. At the start of 2024, he was missing Alina desperately.
On the other hand, Alina didn't aware that their separation would be hard for them. When she opened the book and started reading, her all attention shifted in all those chapters of life that she had spent with Asif in four years at University. During lecture, a flow of memories was enlightened in her mind. She didn't like to sit with anyone. The aloneness and dull life were more panicked for her. She always had to pretend that she had been happy in the class. Asif love was completely filled in her heart. Her delicate nature and comely looking had next level of innocence. Sometimes, her fellows asked her about her gloomy face. She diverted their attention by saying,
"There is nothing wrong with me. I 'm missing my Country a lot"
Who knows? she was hurt inside and there was a gap that only could be filled by Asif presence. These things were a common routine in her life.
It had been many months since they last time talked to each other. Actually, Asif had resigned from his job after joining it in six months because he wanted to hide his internal broken situation without Alina. To keep himself alive for the Alina, he sold his mobile in 150$. This amount was enough for him to survive for buying two times meals. He didn't know that his diet was not enough to keep him alive. It was only Alina's presence to keep him alive spiritually and physically.
It was about 1:00 AM, Alina was looking at the sky and finding her moon. She was missing her lover a lot.
She wanted to hug him and to cry by keeping her head at Asif's shoulders. Suddenly, her mobile started ringing. Although, She didn't want to disturb her memories for taking a call but she strengthen herself for taking call. It was unknown number. Suddenly, her body warmed when someone said,
"Hello Alina! My lifeline, how are you?"
Alina became quiet for few minutes. Her heartbeat thumping fast. It looked her that she was dreaming. It was indeed unexpected event. She murmured,
"Asif! Asif! Asif! Where have you been? How can I be good without you? I 'm missing you a lot"
There started a stream of tears in Asif's eyes. His sentiments were crossing many love's stories. His adorable words applauded,
"Babe! what a painful years they were. I can't sleep a single night without entering into your dreamy World. I 'm looking forward for you."
Alina mingled these words like,
"I 'm also looking forward for you, my sweetheart."
