Celebrating Our Loved Ones - An Act of Love
Yesterday mother's day was celebrated widely around my region, I read allot of good wishes and prayers of many people who saw the importance to acknowledge the existence and support of their parents yesterday.
I feel very excited whenever I see children celebrating their parents in every way that they can, it shows sense of responsibility, care and compassion towards our parents for their unwavering support and sacrifices to our lives.
I was invited to play the trumpet for a birthday celebration recently and I can't lie, every moment of the celebration intrigued this sense of joy and happiness in me thou, along the line I almost had mixed feeling to what happened during the celebration. I was able to pull myself together so I don't miss out that remarkable moment of celebration of life of a mother and a mentor in the lives of her children.
I usually have mixed feeling sometimes in occasions like this of which I think it's natural for me to experience that since I'm human. The thing there is I didn't have that privilege to get so close to my parents or celebrate them since I've grown up as an adult because allot happend in the past I wouldn't want to delve deep into.
As a professional in what I do (Birthday Suprise) I enquired about the surrounding, what type of music they love and who we are playing the birthday suprise for, I needed to take note of all these valuable information in other to get a fitting song for the moment.
Aside from the normal birthday song we usually play, I arranged a simple lineup to make the celebration more lovely and lively of which it was indeed. The celebrant almost suprise us but thank God I noticed her coming towards us and so I kickstart the happy birthday song immediately with my trumpet.
I wish I had recorded that remarkable moment when the mother(celebrant) was overwhelmed and shedding tears of joy but I was using my phone for the music and at the same time playing the trumpet so I had no opportunity for that. The moment the mother started crying in joy and happiness of having vibrant children that always celebrate her special day with her, I felt emotional because I could sense love flying in the air in its greatest frequency.
After the celebration, we took some snapshots with the family before departing to our various destinations.
The birthday suprise came with full package of course, I must recommend the cake vendor for the awesome cake decoration and little chops.
I was professional with my work so I was careful not to stare at the packages too much:) The head of the family was kind enough to gift us some fruits from his little garden. He seems to be an agriculturist, He had a small garden at home and something that looks like a pond but wasn't so close enough to ask him questions.
The whole idea of my post is to encourage us all to always show love to those around us specially our parents in every little way that we can. It is important to make them feel special for all the sacrifices they took for us. We don't have to wait untill when we have it much before we celebrate our parents, no little act of kindness is too small, we may take it as small but we are leaving a remarkable mark in the hearts of our loved ones.
Life is short, take every opportunity very important and do what you're supposed to do, the memories we build with our parents is what we will keep with us and remember them always with..
